NOT RECOMMENDED. My friends and I will never visit Woody's again. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

We had a bad experience the first time we visitied Woody's, and decided to give it another try. The second time was worse than the first.

We went upstairs to the bar area and the "meat head" bouncers were very disrespectfuland pushy to our party and the other party's around us.

I've worked in a bar/restaunt setting throughout college and I have never seen bouncers be so disrespectufl and use thier authority to intimidate others as much as these 2 boys did. It's sad that they have to act this way and lose business for Woody's.

AVOID EVER LEAVING YOUR TAB OPEN AT WOODY'S--YOU MIGHT NEVER SEE YOUR CREDIT CARD AGAIN. After leaving my tab open on a Saturday night, I returned to Woody's on Sunday to get my credit card and pay my tab. When my credit card could not be found, I was told it was in the safe with the bartender's drawer and that a manager was needed to open the safe. But no manager was there. I was told to come back the following day. So I did and then I was told the manager was too busy to take 2 minutes and retrieve my credit card from the safe because he was busy with a carry-out order (I must add that the restaurant was virtually empty and not busy at all). I was told I could not see him and to call back at 2:00pm. After calling at 2:00, I was told the manager was not there. I have yet to see my credit card after two full days. This is very scary for a credit card user. That is two days someone could have been using my credit card without my knowledge.

Woody's customer service is horrible. They should take a few minutes out of their time to make frequent customers feel like they matter.

Located along the railroad tracks, this joint is one of the best places in Royal Oak to people-watch.. In Short
The first floor is filled with families, while the upper levels attract the 21-and-over crowd. Barflies overrun Woody's on the weekends, so get there early to stake out a spot at the pool tables, video games or in front of the big-screen TV. Oversized windows give the second floor an outdoorsy feel and a great jukebox plays when there's no live music. Head up to the rooftop for a fine view of Royal Oak.

place to go for a good time. The food here is average. The specials usually are better than most of the regular menu items. The ribs are good. Beer selection is good, and the mixed drink selection is great. Great Bar to hangout and watch people or to go so people can watch you. And you don't necessarily have to wear all black to get in.
