A great dive.... ...in the best sense of the word. Friendly, casual. A neighborhood hangout with excellent burgers. Only complaint is it's very smoky.

Home Away From Home. The Inn Place in Royal Oak, MI is by far my favorite little hang-out! Yes, I even drive there from Dearborn Heights because it is THIS GOOD! I absolutely love to sing karaoke and it is by far the best version of karaoke I have ever encountered . . . I can't imagine wanting a song that ISN'T on the list.........they've got it all! The food is good, generously portioned and reasonably priced . . . this goes for the drinks as well. I love the people there and the motto of "you are a stranger here but once," holds very true. After just one visit over two years ago, I have always been greeted by name, a hug and of course, a smile! I recommend this bar to anyone who loves to sing . . . karaoke is on Thursday and Saturday evenings. Even if you are just looking to grab a drink after work and "chill out" in a low-key, inviting atmosphere, please be sure to stop by the Inn Place..........even though it does get quite busy at times, you won't be disappointed! The owner, staff and patrons are all GREAT and I look forward to my next visit!!!!!

Karaoke. I used to live around the corner from this place, and it is by far my favorite bar in town. Everyone there is really friendly, and the beer is cheap!

My new favorite dive bar!!!. We went here for my birthday party. SO MUCH FUN. The kareoke was probably the coolest I've been to yet (they have it on Thursday and Saturday). The waitstaff was a blast. The place was PACKED to capacity (the weren't letting more people in after a while) and the waitstaff was still quick with our drinks and a smile to boot. Food and drinks were cheap and good. Great time!

Best karaoke entertainment in Michigan. To think just miles away in Ferndale people are getting hung up on Club Scareyoke over on woodward and 9mile... They could drive a few more miles up the road for quality. I love this place! Yes it is a small place but friendly staff, friendly people and professional karaoke. Such a change of pace.

This place rocks!. The Inn Place is the perfect destination for hanging out with friends, casual drinks with a date or simply showing up by yourself. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff is friendly, funny and accomodating to their guests. Entertainment includes a pool table, dartboard, online jukebox and karioke. The food menu offers classic sandwiches, soup, great burgers and diet-busters such as fried mac-n-cheese. I had a BLT that must have been the best sandwich I've had in quite some time- tripple decker even!! I highly recommend The Inn Place. My time spent there has never been disappointing (or boring!).

SATURDAY NIGHT KARAOKE WAS A BLAST!!!. My co-workers and I came out on a Saturday Night for Karaoke and weren't disappointed! The place was comfortably busy, the staff was friendly and the karaoke was slamming. It has by far, the best run karaoke set up we've ever encountered. Great monitors, totally computerized and the karaoke guy is great! The regular are really good. Bring your A game, but everyone is super supportive and nice to the newbies! Big shout out to waitress/bartender Alex! The FOX2 Crew had a blast! Can't wait to come back again!

Down-to-earth old bar to have a drink or two. The Inn Place is a Dark lil' dive bar with a "Great-for-snacking-while-drinking" menu with items like Slim Jims, Chicken Strips, French Fries, etc. The french fries were a generous portion served in a basket; they were delicious. I recommend the Reuben sandwich. Great place to go if you're looking for a down-to-earth old bar to have a drink or two.
