I was a huge fan of Palazzolo for years and had my entire wedding party booked here. However, in the six months leading up to my wedding, I noticed a downward spiral (which led to my eventually leaving). I have extremely thick hair which takes an hour and half for highlights alone (and that's not including the cut) and the last three times I booked a two and a half hour appointment (at the recommendation of my stylist), the appointment was scheduled for only an hour and a half. This obviously caused distress for me, my stylist, and the customers who were backed up (and in two cases, left) as a result. The last two times I was there, I noticed a "less is more" kind of attitude, and by that I mean the less customer one-on-one time results in more customers. I know this also affected stylist satisfaction as three of the stylists (out of four) who worked on my wedding party all left within eight months of my wedding. Living in Royal Oak and frequenting a salon just down the street, I've noticed a lack of customers in the salon now, and have a feeling I'm not the only customer who noticed a downward spiral in service.
