Work Done Efficiently & Cost Effective.
Took a couple days to get on the schedule to fix a leaking toilet. (It wasn't a bad leak, so I did not ask for an earlier appointment.) I did call the day of the appointment to confirm the time to be at home, and the dispatcher (Rob?) seemed a little confused, but still had my appointment that day. The plumber came in and immediately saw the issue. Fixed it with no problems, and I feel the charges for about 1+1/2 hrs work was fair. $150 including a metal part, wax ring, and soldering the part in place. He left the bathroom cleaned up, asked for newspapers to put the removed toilet on, etc. Co-workers had told me once before it would requiring a special tool to cut cast iron pipes, etc. So in my mind they could have tried to sell it as a more complicated job and got more money; but didn't. I am also a single woman at home, so he could have tried to play on me not knowing what was reasonable.
Except for the bit of confusion with the dispatcher, the work was done quickly, correctly, clean, and efficient.
