Instead of writing a review, I'll simply cut and paste an e-mail it sent to this Van Every place.

Here goes:

Please stop sending me e-mails. I have every intention of never returning.

I found my "service" absolutely terrible and a complete scam.

Your team of billers at the front desk sat there for twenty minutes seeking every possible method of payment they could while I stood there in terrible pain and having to hold my head up with two hands because my neck no longer was capable.

The actual "chiropractor" came in, spent 3 minutes with me tapping my chest with a little device, didn't even TOUCH my neck, and I walked out of there EXACTLY as I had walked in - except for my $170 bill.

And I was told to come back again later that day and that it would take many more visits over a few weeks!

What an awful scam!

I went to Dr. Kalkan in Berkley directly after leaving your place and he worked on me the REAL and proper way until I walked out of his office 95% normal and with full ability and motion. I slept that night and woke up feeling 100%. He didn't mention payment until after he fixed me.

I have gone to chiropractors my entire life, since birth (I am 33), and I have always recommended them highly to everyone. Often I run into people that hate chiropractors and have had terrible experiences. I never understood why until I came to see you.

You give all chiropractors a bad name and you cause people that need help to continually live in pain because their vision of chiropractic medicine comes from places like the Van Every center, and they know there is no help there.

If you had any moral decency you would close your doors immediately and go work at Taco Bell. I wouldn't trust people like you in any higher a position. I put your level of business ethics somewhere below those of Nigerian scam artists on Craig's List. At least they prey on healthy people.

That should summarize my opinion of them nicely.

If you're looking for a GOOD chiropractor, one who cares about his patients, look up Dr. Kalkan in Berkley. He is a great guy, provides awesome treatment, he's very knowledgeable and he's very affordable.

Please, stay away from Van Every. I don't know how they received any positive reviews, unless maybe these people don't know what Chiropractic care should be.

Dr.Anna Saylor-Wither and Dr. Laura Vanloon are the best! The entire staff at VanEvery is warm, helpful, and caring. Our entire family has seen remarkable care and progress with treatments. I have seen many Chiropractors over many years since my first visit when my children were just toddlers. Now I see my grandchildren benefiting from the care they receive.The relief that I get from my migraines, sciatica pain and back pain is fantastic and would not be without it as part of my health care program.The KST method is a kinder, gentler but most effective treatment, never leaving me with muscle spasms or feeling stressed. KST and the care of VanEvery actually relieves stress. These are truly Family Practice professionals.I recommend them to everyone!

Amazing care for the whole family! My husband and I switched to VanEvery years ago after several of my co-workers recommended it for our back pain and my chronic sinus infections. We both have felt great ever since and have been so much healthier. We since have had two children who are seen by both Dr.'s. My son was having breathing issues starting at 6 weeks and my daughter had reoccuring ear infections. We have been free from ear infections for almost a year and my son has not had to use breathing treatments since receiving care from Dr. Saylor and Dr. Vanloon. I can't say enough about both Dr.'s and the rest of the great staff at VanEvery!

I just had the most amazing adjustment ever! I've had shoulder pain that I lived with for years, but was afraid of going to a chiropractor for fear of the dreaded 'popping' and 'cracking'. My friend recommended I try Dr.Saylor because of the gentle technique she uses. She used a handheld device and I felt immediate relief in my left shoulder! The instrument she used seemed very precise. I highly recommend her! Awesome!

run away. Although very sweet people, seemingly, this has got to be the worse chiro experience I have ever had in my life. Just feel like a piece of meat fed into the system. Used some clicky instrument up my back, & had no real adjustment as I have had in the past. Went 3 times to give it a chance, & yikes. They try to coerce you to write reviews & offer prizes for doing so, which is why it is the most reviewed chiro on line. This is why I came, & this is why I am writing this review so the rest of you don't waste your time. If there were negative stars for waste of time & money,well, you get the idea

Wouldn't trust my family to anyone else!. We heard about Van Every Family Chiropractic Center through our first and very BAD experience with Chiropractic care. Top Doc's. My child suffered for 2 years with back pain. After seeing the pediatrician, orthopedic surgeon, physical therapy treatments and multiple medications, Dr Saylor and Dr Vanloon finally brought her relief from pain! They are amazing!

Van Every Family Chiropractic Center. My name is Lauren McMahan I am 13 years old and I live in Hazel Park Michigan. I started coming to Van Every Family Chiropractic Center in Royal Oak for about 3 months. I was born with ADD (attention deficit disorder) and I have been on a medication prescribed by my pediatrician to help. I have been taking this medication since second grade. I am in seventh grade now and hoping to be taken off it. My mom had been seeing Dr. Anna Saylor and Dr. Laura Vanloon and asked my pediatrician about me and my sisters seeing them. Since she said it isn’t needed we did a case study, this takes a scan of our back showing where we need the most help at. Ever since then I have been feeling great! The staff members are always nice and greet you every time you come in for your checkup. Before I went to Van Every I was distracted all the time, my sisters and I fought constantly, and I had a pretty bad attitude toward a lot of things. Now I am doing better in school, my behavior has been improved, and my sisters don’t fight as much anymore. I will have to say it took about a month before noticeable changes started to occur, but it worked. Our family can now have at least one peaceful day in our house, sometimes two if we get lucky. ;) thank you Van Every!

Excited About Chiropractic Care. I have been a patient of Dr. Saylors for about 5 years and I have had the best experiences under her care. The thing I most love about her is her never ending quest to educate herself. I know she is always looking out for me. I have had some strange things come up health wise and would never imagine Chiropractic could take care of. Love Van Every, Dr. Saylor and the awesome staff.

Great Care. I chose to become a patient of VanEvery Family Chiropractic because of the high praise my daughter gave for the care of her family, especially the children (my grandchildren). That was the beginning of great care for my daughter, myself, my husband, my mother, our grandchildren, and my Aunt... the whole family.

VanEvery Chiropractic has helped me personally with migraines, sciatica, stess and much more. They listen to their patients and learn new techniques to help in the best ways available. They believe in helping everyone to attain the best health they can.

The entire staff are friendly, cheerful, and very helpful. It's a warm and caring atmosphere all the time, and that's always a good thing... especially if you are hurting.
