Beautiful jewelry.Cust, service leaves a lot to be desired. I stopped in Kay Jewelers in March.It was my birthday&I decided I'd treat myself to nice diamond ring. The two clerks that helped me that day were superb.I'm so sorry I can't remember their names. The manager gave me a wonderful deal(imo)on a nice 1ct.White gold ring.I was very satisfied with the sevice I got that day.Flashforward to June&I'm not sure I'll ever buy from Kay's again.I've called with questions on two seperate occasions.Both times the women on the phone were less than business like in the way they spoke to me. I figured I'd caught them at a bad time&brushed it off. I went in today(6/27/11) to have my ring inspected&cleaned. They didn't open until at least 10:15am but through the window I could see they were busy trying to put inventory in the display cases but still there's something to be said for punctuality(sp?). Upon entering I was greeting by only one of the women on duty.The other two seemed as though they could care less that a customer had entered the store. The woman who helping me wasn't snide or nasty but wasn't what I consider a good example of a professional courteous employee. She cleaned my ring&seemed as though she thought she was well rid of me. I wouldn't have made too much of it in my mind had I not gone across the way to another jewelry store where I was treated almost a fine as royalty by the three employees on duty at that store.

As I said when I made my purchase in March I received top notch gold star service.Today,they D-team was on duty.I wish they'd been on duty back in March.Then I'd have known not to spend a dime in Kay Jewelers. Oh well now that I've gotten a taste of what true customer service is,from Kay's competitor,I'll not shop Kay's again,at least not until they have the employees go through proper customer care training.
