multistate transmission/watauga tx. avoid this place alltogether. i drive an 1988 bonneville. i took my car to multistate cause it was throwing a transmission code. i put my car with them @ asked several times to give me a high or low end quote, he wouldnt, how bout a roundabout quote, he wouldnt. this was on a monday. two days later buddy gave me an allmost 1900.00& quote. i was devistated. im a single mom and this hurt. if id of known it was going to be anywhere near this amount, id of taken my car across the street and turned it in on a newer model...i lost over a week of work . buiddy said he ordered wrong parts. he did after a week get me a rental car @ made me feel like he was really doing me a favor...he blocked my phone # so i couldnt call and ask about my car..... when i finally got my car back 1800.00 dollars later, i drove it for one day and it stopped running on me. this has been a good car to me and for the age it hasnt given me a lot of problems. i cant prove this but i think my car was tampered with...my haqrmonic balance was turned halfway round, the ignition module went out. the ignition module had been replaced 1 yr ago. this is a two hundred dollar item....my experiance with multistate was not a good one. ifeel like i was taken advantage of in the worst way. there is no legal action i can take cause i cant prove any of this,,,, the only thing that i could really prove is to get a court order to get there phone records @ prove that they blocked my phone #. thats gonna amount to a hill of beans.....so in my opinion multistate shoul not be in exsistence. it is a bad company and they will do you wrong...........im glad i got to state my opinion. not that its gonna do any good, this place still has its doors open to unsuspecting customers...............lynn
MULTISTATE WARREN WON'T GIVE BACK CAR.. Took car to them for a broken line, visably leaking out of the front of the car. They claim they took the car for a test drive and would have to tear the trans down to find out what was wrong. When asked what they have doneto the car they replied: " nothing" then said ( with much hesitation) they had put a rubber hose on the transmission line so they could drive it. the car had a leak in a fluid line in the front, the trans is in the center of the car beneith the seats. Then they said that they filled the transmission but for 1 week they still come up with excuses and don't let us pick up the car. Don't really know when we can have our car since we don't want to spend $300 to diagnose and another $ 1000 to fix something that really is not broke. THANKS MULTI STATE!!! ANOTHER CUSTOMER THAT WON'T BEND OVER FOR YOU!
