When you go for a tour of this day care you leave feeling warm and cozy. Once you sign up it is a different story. I was told my child would be in her classroom with her two Techers. Ell guess what that did not happen. My child was moved from one room to the next several times daily. She had no clue if she was coming or going. Not to mention that most of the Teachers at this center have no clue how to Teach children, I assume these Teachers received their trainings out of a cracker jack box and come to find out if you look on the State of Michigans web page to review this center you will see that they have multiple citations. This center is bad news and I feel for the children who attend this center as they will never be able to establish a bond with one particular Teacher. What a shame. Please save your time and money and look elsewhere!
Amazing place to bring your child!!. My 17 month old daughter attends Creative Child & I couldn't be any happier!! Her morning activities involve: breakfast, free play, cirlce time, and art projects. Her afternoon includes: lunch, nap time, snack & free time! The lead and assitant teachers are awesome and show a lot of enthusiam and compassion for what they do!! Like EVERY business, they do encounter problems and unhappy parents but they RESOLVE them as quickly as possible!! I would note that this is not a one-on-one basis but most daycares are not!! Also, she gets to interact with kids her own age instead of just being around adults all day. I'm soo happy I made the jump into bringing my daughter here.
Excellent loving childcare, infant through toddler. My son is in his last year (4 years old) and my daughter is now 20 months. Both started at CC when only a couple months old. CC is an excellent, loving atmosphere for children of any age. Any concerns are dealt with fairly and swiftly, though I have to say we've never encountered anything "serious". My kids are never apprehensive or clingy when I drop them off. They LOVE it there and love the staff. The curriculum in the older years is the perfect balance of play, rest and learning and the staff maintains great control over the student body, in a very loving and kind way. As for the poster whose child was kicked out for being disruptive, I have to say I commend CC for taking the initiative on maintaining peace and order in their classrooms. I'm sure it was not an easy decision for them to ask a family to remove their child, being so caring and supportive and very flexible as they are. Obviously they are hurting financially in these hard times too, so that makes this type of decision very difficult for many reasons. But I believe CC wants to maintain its excellent level of service to all the children, so this decision was probably a very good one.
Poor Management- Poor Staff- No Teaching Happening Here. Management clueless how to handle accidents/injuries, unprofessional staffpersons, and how to follow basic early childcare practices. Take your hard earned money and precious little ones elsewhere!
Good people, good care, clean facility, good prices. The children show affection for the staff and my kids are always happy to go and when I pick them I observe children enjoying themselves and engaged in learning. I also like the way the staff patiently correct inappropriate behavior.
Would NEVER recommend them!!. They kicked out my 3 year old due to his distruptive behavior. The owner told me sometimes you have to scare discipline into your kid by spanking him. Told me that kids his age will deceive you and they will play on your kindness. Anyways, kicking him out of there was the BEST thing they could've done.
Great place for your kids to learn in a safe enviroment!.
When I was preg with my first son I searched high and low for somewhere I felt comfortable sending my new born baby. To get a full view of how places were run I did not set up appointment or call ahead. I just showed up. I was very happy when I found this place. My older son remained at this facility until he "graduated." I am confident he will excel in Kindergarten. My younger son did not compelte the program, but only because I am currently not in need of child care. When I am though I plan to re-enroll him here.
Did I ever have problems? Yes once or twice. That happens everywhere. What makes Creative Child different is they correct them right away.
BEWARE. Stay away from this place. They put up a good front but DON'T trust your kids there. They will cover up problems. Even if you contact the state they know how to get around them and make there place look perfect.
