Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced.
They got my order completely wrong and when I called to ask to take it back they told me I couldn't. As a vegatarian I'm used to spring rolls being filled with veggies, well they were filled with meat, I asked for 2 Spring rolls and they gave me 6. Saying I had 2 orders of spring rolls (3 in each), so I had nothing to eat, and wasted like $16 on dinner for me and my boyfriend and had nothing to eat for the night. I will never go back there. I understand people make mistakes, but they should have corrected it. Period.

Great Dim Sum and even better Sushi.
Sure the Dim Sum is fantastic here. Although the waiters speak little English and when asked to explain a dish, they say a few words in Chinese followed by the word "pork." So you're on your own there. But the best kept secret is the Sushi. There's a small Sushi Bar as you enter. The fish is all on display and couldn't be fresher. There's a $7.95 lunch special which is overwhelming not only in quality, but quantity as well. I could finish about 3/4ths of it. Ordered ala carte, I'll bet it would have cost closer to $20. I love this place!

Golden Harvest = Pepto Bismol.
It's too bad I can not send Golden Harvest a bill for the pepto bismol I had to buy after eating lunch there. We walk in the door. The manager pulls himself away from the internet. We order 2 shrimp dim sum, one regular dim sum, one pork bun and a big beef noodle soup for 2. Tastes okay. Bill comes to $18.00 -- we go to the register to pay. The manager is sooooo glued to the internet. -- it takes him 3 attempts to make change for a $20.
One hour later...the burping...the (guess what?) -- We had to stop at the drugstore for the Pepto Bismol.
Will we return? No way. What is the problem with Golden Harvest? The answer is simple: The manager is not paying attention to the kitchen. Only to the internet. So it cost 18+3 (tip) + $5 -- and the rest of the day and night are shot to ---- which is bascially what they served at Golden Harvest.

Excellent dim sung!.
Very good dim sung place, period. I slightly prefer this one over Shangri-la in West Bloomfield, but they are both good.
Remember, dim sung is usually only served during lunch time... and my wife and I only go here for the dim sung.

Could be California.
I have lived in a majority Chinese town in California, and grew up with great Chinese food. This is up there with the best. A buddy from Toronto--a city known for great Chinese--joined me here recently and said the black bean chicken was the best he'd ever tried. I agree. Amazing food. The real deal. Detroit has few decent Chinese restauants and alot of bad ones. This one is as good as it gets.
East Lake in Troy is worth a try, as well. Even more ethnic but less upscale.

Dim Sum and REAL Chinese.
If you have never visited this place during the height of the weekend Dim Sum dining you are missing a real treat. You won't see the usual things on the menu and you will see a lot of very unusual items. This is truly a place where you will be in the minority if you are not Asian. That says it all right there.
