Ewww. I generally go somewhere else, but they were closed.. So I read the reviews and said well I'll try it... Worst mistake. The egg roll was so salty & greasy then chicken was burned and the sause was that can sause. the rice was mushy. I also got wonton soup and when I was eating it, I bit into something hard and crunchy. I spat it out without looking due to fear! Would not go there ever again

Was once good, now is horrible. 10 years ago, China Palace was one of the best chinese restraunts in the metro detroit area..it changed ownership about 4-5 yrs ago, and since the service and food is downright HORRIBLE. The very first time I went there when they changed over owners I found what looked like a STAPLE in my rice..There was a time months later I found what looked like a PUBIC HAIR in my chicken. I almost threw up. It was utterly disgusting. I havent tried thier food in a few years, but the place I normally use on mondays was closed, so I tried to give China Palace (aka New China Town) one last try. I asked on the phone if they still used the "old reciepe" of sweet n sour sauce and NOT the commerical RED stuff that is like the kind you find at Mcdonalds for chicken nuggets. She assured me it was indeed the same. When I got home and opened the food, I was furious, it WAS indeed the red commerical Mcdonalds nugget type canned sauce...It tasted horrible, and I was so upset I threw it out after one bite of the SOGGY LUKE WARM CHICKEN. unreal. Stay away from this amatuer dive. Far far away. I wont list or shill the place I normally go to, but I will say this place is beyond disgusting so dont ever give them a try.

Superb!. I don't understand why those other reviews have to talk bad about this place and have to mention a competitor restaurant down the street. If you ask me, sounds like some unfair play. I think this place is great. The really do have delicious food (I'm biased to their Almond Boneless Chicken, it's wonderful). True, the atmosphere isn't the best, but I'm there for food not ambience. Good for families too.
