I just bought gas logs and a fireplace door from them. I shopped around and their selection was the largest I have seen; they had the best price; and the salesperson was the nicest and most knowledgeable.

Wonderful Customer Service. I checked out Michigan Fireplace and Barbecue after a friend referred it. I'm single and female I was a little worried about 'being sold more' then I needed. But John and his staff were fantastic. They walked me through options and together we found the exact product I needed for my own lifestyle and budget. They were professional and kind, and I appreciated their time, insight and suggestions. I was so happy with this place, I keep referring all my friends too.

Very Knowledgeable Staff. My experiences have been nothing but professional with the staff of Michigan Fireplace and Barbeque. The staff appeared to be young, but their knowledge and expertise trumps every other store in the region. I am extremely happy with my visits to the store and the products I have purchased.

I recently purchased a fireplace door from Michigan Fireplace & Barbeque, and I was very pleased with the quality of the product, as well as the selection they provided. Prices were competitive and the customer service was well worth the 45+ minute drive.

Satisfied Repeat Customer. Have been a customer of Michigan Fireplace & Barbeque for many years. Purchased a Broilmaster Grill 15 years ago, and just replaced it thisyear. Excellent quality grill that we use, and leave outside year round. Also, recently purchased a beautiful fireplace door, which is the center piece of our family room. We are an extremely satisfied customer of Michigan Fireplace & Barbeque. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and provide excellent service. It is no wonder they have been in business for over 35 years.

very satisfied customer. I decided to change my wood burning fireplace to a gas ventless one. I ordered the parts and was told they had an installer to convert it for me. The service we recived was very good I would reccommend this place to my friends. i love my new ventless gas fireplace.

Run, don't walk..in the other direction! Don't buy there.. This business does not support it's products. Once purchased, you are on your own if the product is faulty.

I purchased a HeritageStove for my sun room and had it installed in September. Several days following installation, it became apparent that the stove would not operate properly and so began the saga that has so far lasted to the moment of this writing. And, I will continue to try to get compensation or replacement for this $3,000+ item however long it takes. Michigan Fireplace has been less than supportive in resolving the problem with this stove. I have now sent a complaint about them to the better business bureau, and Michigan Fireplace manager in turn called me upon receipt of the complaint to yell at me/tell me off, rather than to make an attempt to work towards resolving the problem to my satisfaction. I agree with the other review I see here.... They offer terrible customer service, and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. If you are savvy enough to check out reviews on this place (I wasn't) then be wise and go elsewhere for BBQ's, fireplaces, and free standing stoves.

Don't Bother With This Place!. Don't even bother with this store. Terrible customer service, terrible communication. Needed a part in which the first salesman said he was going to look into ordering which would take 6-8 weeks. He was going to contact me once the part was available. This never happened. Called back after 10 weeks and was told they never ordered the part and that their policy was to pay for the part in full before it was to be ordered. This was never communicated. They should have explained this to me from the start but did not. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend this place, look elsewhere !!!!
