Wonerful Studio. My daughter began dancing at 2 years old at an extremely large studio in Troy. When she was 9 I went on a hunt to find a dance studio that did not just cater to the "Dance Company" but also also offered dance instruction to recreational dancers. Just by chance, Juliart was holding their dance camp for the younger children, and my daughter and I simply fell in love with this studio. The owners and instructors not only teach the art of dance but are mentors to our girls. The studio is warm and inviting and we are proud to be part of the "Juliart Family". My daughter began dancing with the Juliart Company Dancers 3 years ago, and unlike a previous review from a disgruntled step mother, has learned not only teamwork, but confidence in her ability to do anything if she tries hard enough. The teachers have guided my daughter to try her best, highlight her best abilities, and to dance, dance, dance. The Company Dancers are taught that it is teamwork, attitude and commitment with a goal not simply to win platinums, but to work hard to be the very best they can be. These teachers are warm, inviting and committed to our children. We are the "Juliart Family" and proud that we have found these wonderful women. I highly recommend Juliart Dance Studio to anyone who is looking for dance instruction with quality, excellence, and most importantly, a sense of accomplishment instilled in each child that enters their doors

Great Family atmosphere with very friendly staff. My daughters enjoy the studio immensely. They have made wonderful friendship, as have I. we look forward to returning year after year.

like family. my daughters have danced at juliart for almost 10 years, and I can honestly say there is nowhere else I'd rather see them at. The instructors teach the girls so much more than dancing, they teach them to,love eachother, and respect others...the instruction is top notch..and all students are treated fairly. The owners care for the children, not just the buisness. I tell everyone I know to come to juliart!!! the best studio around, and the company dancers are awesome!!!

Horrible dance instruction, awful shows, poor quality of training. As a former dancer, I was thrilled when my step daughters wanted to take dance. Their biological mother signed them up at Juliart (she has no dance experience).

The studio is a waste of money. The dance instruction is pathetic. My oldest wants to be a ballet teacher when she grows up and if she doesn't change schools, she would never pass a middle school audition let alone be able to get her BFA. The kids who are supposed to be "the best" cannot spot a turn nor point their toes.

At the dress rehearsal, the girls were forced to change into their costumes in a public restroom. The studio had not rented dressing room space for the kids that were not in the "company" group. I tried to lay my sweater down on the floor so my kids were not forced to sit on a public bathroom floor to put their tights.

If you are looking for good, quality dance training with the best interest of the children in mind...go elsewhere.

Great Dance Studio for children. I am so happy that I found this studio for my daughter. She has had three different teachers, and they have all been wonderful. They are nurturing and supportive. They really do care about what is best for the students. They also understand that children need to be children. The dances and costumes are always age appropriate. I HIGHLY recommend this studio.

We love this studio and are sure you will too!. Last fall, after looking at several studios in the area, I stopped by Juliart's open house. I have been their biggest fan ever since. You will not find a more professional, personable and most of all caring staff; which was my priority considering my girls were only 3 and 5 when we began. They all have the gift of teaching classical ballet but manage to make it so fun. It is truly what my girls look most forward to each week. They have learned so much especially the importance of practice and how much it pays off. They recognize this progress physically which has helped them to realize the importance of it in other areas of their lives. I know it sounds silly because they are so young but it really is true. Anyway, I encourage you to see for yourself what makes Juliart such a great a great place to dance.

P.S. They throw one great birthday party. It will be tough to top!

Wonderful environment for your child to excel at dance and love it. This studio is an extraordinary place for young dancers to attend. The small size and delightful staff are warm and welcoming, deeply concerned with the personal development of students. I have never met women more passionate for what they do. Unlike many larger studios in the area, Juliart sees students and their potentail for sucess as a dancers rather than a way to make money. I have sent my daughter to three dance studios and Juliart is by far the best not only because of the small size but also the quality and experience of the teaching staff. I would not recommend any where else.

WORST DANCE STUDIO. Hired worst ballet teacher in industry with no talent. Shows partiality and unprofessionalism towards other faculty. Has no interest in the welfare of the children. This studio lacks the ability to give children self esteem and growth that is necessary in the world today. I highly do not recommend attending this studio.
