Best Restaurant Ever!!!. Forst of all the setting in this restaurant is a real surprise, ciao is so romantic with beautiful music. The food is GREAT! all the food is my favortie it's to hard to pick. Ciao is the place to go in the Detroit area, don't go anywhere else.
WORST ITALIAN I HAVE EVER EATEN. The calamari is rubbery. My Veal chop had an industrial metal staple in it and my rosemary whipped potatoes had a piece of plastic in it that I almost choked on. I received a complimentary desert due to my findings in my entree and my tiramisu had a stale refrigerator taste to it. The service was mediocre at best. He came by once to drop off my drinks and then later to drop my bill and that was it. it was bad. The money I spent there I could have went to a real quality restaurnt instead I ended up there. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID DINE ELSEWHERE.
Nice Change In Dearborn. Given the number of rather ho-hum restaurants in Dearborn, Ciao is exceptionally good particularly if you happen to be in the area for lunch - strongly recommend it over the regular hang outs the Ford engineers will consistently expect you to try unless (but of course) they absolutely cannot finish the day without a Miller's burger.....
LOVED IT. We had our rehersal dinner at Ciao / The Grappa Lounge and it was magnificent. The food, the staff, the warmth... people are still talking about three months later. We highly recommend Ciao / The Grappa Lounge for either an intimate dinner or a small party. Thank you for helping to get our wedding off to a wonderful start!
A NICE SUPRISE!. We went into this place because the restaurant next door didnt have power and we were too hungry to drive elsewhere. Boy, were we suprised! This hidden gem in Dearborn was fantastic! The decor was beautiful, the waitstaff professional, and the food was the best I have had in a long time (and we have been to almost every restaurant under the sun in the metro area). This place is perfect for a first date or a special romantic dinner, it is dimly lit and plays soft music. The food was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. We will definitely go back to this place in the near future-try the mushroom asiago soup if you go there, it is to die for!
