I didn't believe in stereotypes but... – We were there for a Lebanese party with some friends. Just after arrival, the owner and his watchdogs gave us grief about the reservations because they had a different number on their "list". I was the one who made the reservation jacka*&. I should know how many people I reserved for. Whatever, they added some chairs. Upon sitting down, I couldn't even hear the person right next to me because the music was so loud. I asked the DJ nicely to turn down the volume temporarily during dinner so our party could talk. The music would be okay if people were dancing but everyone was still eating at that hour. The goatf*&$er turned it up even louder just to spite us. The final straw was when the owner realized he overbooked and asked 3 people from our party of 12 to leave. He'd even let us pick, WOW so generous... Who the f&^k does that? We were the only ones done eating so he probably thought he'd get more money elsewhere. It's a party assh*&e, we're still gonna buy ur drinks and hooka. Funny thing is that a guy from our party even was a family friend of the owner (the owner actually had dinner at his house). And the guy still wanted to throw a few of us out. Lebanese people are known to be the Middle-Eastern "Jewish" as a joke, but damn... they'd sell their own brothers to make a buck. Oh and lastly the owner could not help but look down my girlfriend's top whenever he had the chance...but she is hot so I can't blame him for that...

Middle Eastern with Quality – It's really good tasty food. Being from the middle east, I can tell if the food is good or not. It has good atmosphere good decoration, the best of all the professionalism of waitresses and the management. Something that I do not see in a lot of middle eastern restaurants. One thing they need to improve on is they should offer you options and ask about how do you like your meat cooked or even give you recommendations. I still give it 5 stars and I will go there again and again, that's how good the food is.

Best place on WSU campus – I've been going to La Pita for about two and a half years now and it is easily my favorite place to grab something during school. The food is obviously far superior in just about every aspect to other comparable places on campus. The falafel sandwich in particular is a real favorite of mine and is a fantastic deal at less than $5. In fact, most of the pita sandwiches are less than $5 and every one of them is great. When I'm REALLY hungry, though, I grab one of the plates, which includes an entre (usually some sort of shawarma or falafel), rice (w/almonds!), hummus, garlic or tahini sauce, and a salad. I used to have these a lot more often, though, as the price on many of them has risen from $7.99 to $9.99 since I started eating there. In fact, I would say that prices have risen across the board. The hummus and garlic sauce they use now don't seem to be as good as what they used to have. I think now it's store bought while before it was made on-site. Overall, though, I'd still call it the best place on campus. I just wish it was closer to the engineering building.

Now that Lashish is gone, it's the best in the State – Very good food, probably the best middle eastern food around. Lashish was the best, but since the whole tax evasion thingy, Lapita takes the crown.

Great food, good prices. – Very good food, family friendly restaurant. The sound system was a little loud when I was there, but otherwise a very good experience.

Better experience at the old location. – The food is delicious and the price is unbeatable. I really preferred to dine in and carry out experience at the old location a block away. They got the food preparation quality back to the way it was at the old location after many months of bad experiences. We carry out at least every two weeks but the salad and the hot round bread has been packed together ever since the move. The arrangement of the front desk and the kitchen probably leads to this issue and accounts for a lot of traffic through the dining area. There are no comment cards as I remember seeing in the old location either. You can order lunch any time of the day which helps the price! The hot round bread and the hommous is great. I like the food price, selection, and timing of the service better here than at La Shish.

consistently good – A middle eastern friend said that this restaurant is slightly americanized, but I think the food is pretty awesome. I have to admit that they must put something in the hummus to keep me coming back, I was an addict there for a while. Cravings for La Pita, it must be a women thing!
