Great customer service – I have been going here since I moved to this area. They have a great variety of pets. I bought some tropical fishes for them and nice people that work there are very nice.

The pet store – We love dogs, and we bought our puppies here. We like how it's just close to our house! We also buy our dogs food here not only because it's healthier for our buddy but it's always great to support your local business. Stop on by, the staff is also very helpful in answering any questions you may have!

Disgusting. – A few years ago, I got my new puppy there. He was shoved into a tiny cage with another dog, and they'd had him for a week and hadn't been bathed. He was flea-infested and sick. They said he had his shots, but when I took him in, I found that it wasn't true. The place was hot and cramped, entirely inadequate for any living thing. I'll never buy from them again, unless to rescue those poor animals.

Sick puppies!!!! Worst place EVER!! Do not go!!! – I recently purchased a 3 month old Rottweiler from Pet Station. She weighed 22.3 lbs and was smushed into this little cage with a German Shepard.. but that's just the beginning! I asked many questions about her health and even mentioned all the negative reviews. Randy insured me that all his dogs have there shots UTD and that they have all been examed by his vet prior to coming to the store. He even gave me a gift certificate to his vet to take the dog to get checked! Just to ease my mind. Thankfully we did take her right away! The vet was very short with us, no real compassion for the puppy. Strictly business!! He said our puppy has a murmur don't worry just take her to specialist and walks out the room?!?! We left and made an appointment with our own vet. Our vet told us that our pups Murmur was very distinctive and that she indeed was in need of a heart specialist, the first appointment with Michigan Vet. Specialist cost $468 just to tell us the next step, and her surgery is $3000-4000!!!!! What now?!? We love this puppy now, I can't just take her away from my children!! When I went into Pet Station there was ANOTHER women there with almost the same problem, her teddy bear (shitzu mix) has a heart murmur and phneumonia! Randy had no choice but to refund us both our money for the dog but that don't fix the problems ahead that we both face!! All this could of been avoided by a simple examination of the pups before sale!!!! I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

I came here to buy some accessories for my salt water fish tank. They had a nice selection of fish. I went in wanting stuff for my tank and left with a new fish!

BEST PUPPY EVER!!! – I've got to admit I was leary about buying a puppy from a pet store. But my husband and I wanted one so bad and the prices at the mall pet stores were outrageous. Then this past May I saw the "$199 puppies" sign in front of The Pet Station and my husband and I went it to check it out. It looked like a typical pet store to me nothing super fancy nice but nothing dumpy either. I locked eyes on this little black and white puppy and immediately fell in love with her. We purchased her and just to be safe took her to the vet a few days later to make sure she was "clean" of any worms, parvo, parasites, etc. AND SHE WAS!!!! People need to realize puppies from no matter where they come from have a high risk of getting all sorts of diseases. Take them to the vet right away and get them their puppy shots! My puppy is now almost 10 months and super happy and healthy! She is a Sharpei-Pug which is such a cute combo and people tell me all the time how beautiful and friendly she is. I am so thankful for this pet store!

Worst pet/tropical fish store in SE michigan!! – I wish I could give this place 0 stars!! I have been in this store twice and both times left practically in tears. Their puppies HAVE PARVO. I could smell it when I walked in the door. I have been a vet tech for 13 years and Parvo has a distinct smell. The only reason I would get any animal from there is to RESCUE IT!!! The fish have sores and are missing fins and their tanks are full of algae. Please stop frequenting this awful place so they will go out of the business of torturing animals! The only reason the last poster got a healthy puppy is because it wasn't in that place very long. While I was there today I overheard a conversation with a young, obviously unaware, couple who were bringing their min pin mix back in to tell the owner it had an upper respiratory infection and probably parvo??? They were reluctant to get the parvo test at their vet done because of money? I dunno..but the owner dismissed it and said to just treat for the URI and "wait and see" . I didn't see them leave or I would have said something to them =(. This is GROSS NEGLIGENCE on the part of the owner! That poor puppy will likely die in the next few days if not treated. It may be too late already. Please don't take my word for it animal lovers...go see yourself. I hope they clean up their act..at least for the sake of the animals.
