Won't go back. Sound is average, the acts are average, the wait staff is definitely average and the creepy, balding middle-aged manager dude seems more interested in “satisfying” his waitresses (one in particular) than the customers.

Movie theater turned music venue still offers a brew and a view from time to time.. In Short
Despite movie theater roots and some current big-screen offerings, Magic Bag deals primarily in music nowadays, with a soft spot for blues, and is also a popular place for CD release parties for Detroit music acts. On Brew 'n' View movie nights, patrons relax with beer and popcorn while enjoying flicks--not to mention reduced admission prices and pitcher specials.

The Bag Rocks. This is the best music joint in town...the movies are cool too. The sound is the best, the acts are the best and the staff is pretty cool too.
