With locations across the country, this mostly carryout pizza purveyor started in Michigan in 1959, thanks to an injured shortstop from the Detroit Tigers farm team. Known for its traditional round pizzas, Little Caesar's also offers a square deep-dish variety with toppings like pepperoni, sausage, ham, black olives and anchovies. The menu stays simple with a few additional bites like wings, garlic and Parmesan-sprinkled bread sticks, a handful of sub sandwiches and salads.

Horrible location. This Little Caesar's is horrible. Their pizza tastes like cardboard and usually has been sitting around for a long time. If you want to order something special, forget about it. They only want you to buy the $5 special so they don't have to do anything too taxing. The employees are rude and slow. There is a Primo's pizza just a block further down 8 Mile. Do yourself a favor and spend the few $$ more and buy your pizza there.
