Great Selection of Offbeat Books and Stuff. This store is a real gem. They carry offbeat books you will never see on the shelves of Borders or Barnes and Noble. And they are eager to order what they don't stock and usually can have it in the store within a few days. The photography monograph selection is fantastic. And they have a specialized 'beatnik' selection. And a large children's book selection.

I could (and do) roam through this store for hours on end. And I buy books, CDs, and DVDs also. Being an independent business person myself, I go out of my way to support local businesses. When gems of stores like these go out of business, we will have less choice.
