Crown jewel in the hills. Pentimento has some of the most beautiful jewelery I have Ever seen. the girl who was helping me had a smile on her. Face and was always kind yet humorous. She listened to everything I had to say about what I wanted to do with me design and did everything I asked of her. She called me before she set my stones to make sure it was what I wanted and she called me when it was done, and stayed after hours for me to come pick it up when I had the time. It was so great I went home and told my husband how wonderful it was, he ended up getting my 40th anniversary gift from the store. it was a great experience and a beautiful store I highly reccomend it!

A great store that went downhill. Pentimento used to be one of my favorite jewelry stores. Everything was so beautiful and unique and the service was top notch. Unfortunately, things have changed over there, and I had what I can only describe as an infuriating experience. I tried to have a custom piece made, and to say I was treated rudely is definitely an understatement. Not only did the woman we were working with try to persuade us to change our design to compensate for her lack of skill, but we later found out that the suggestions she made would have made the piece FALL APART with regular wear. On top of that, she tried to overcharge us big time, and when she did decide to return a phone call (rarely), she was loud, belligerent, and seemingly unable to listen. It's a same that a place with such gorgeous designs has lost any type of customer service, but I can say that I will never shop there again. There are other stores with gorgeous work that actually treat their customers like they want to do business with them. Run, don't walk ,to another jeweler if you want something custom made.
