I've been taking my dog here for couple months now and he loves going. He plays ball and gets to interact with other dogs. I appreciate that she is selective about the other dogs , I know that my dog will be safe in her care. She is also working with me to stop my dog from unwanted barking and separation anxiety. She is truly a "dog" person! I love that my dog doesn't have to be crated for an overnight visit since we don't do that at home and since we don't have a large back yard her 5 acres are a fun place to run my dog. She is very reasonably priced and willing to do special pricing if you need.
good place, but very picky. i did not use this kennel, we were considering, but the woman told us our dog had too many issues. she had a case of separation anxiety, but we had fixed that. when we first got her, she peed in our bedroom. she jumped over our gate in the house when she had separation anxiety. the owner only takes absolutley perfect, excellent especially good dogs. its a great place for dogs to run but she is very picky about the dogs she chooses.
A CAGE FREE Canine Country Club.
Our 100 year old fenced 5 acre farm welcomes GOOD SOCIAL DOGS ONLY. IF YOUR DOG HAS BEHAVIORAL ISSUES or lacks social skills THEY ARE NOT WELCOME. This is a cagefree, social setting for only the BEST DOGS. ONE BAD DOG (like these other reviewers had) disrupts the "peaceful & fun" environment we STRIVE to maintain. Your dog will not be locked in a "private suite" or forced to relieve themselves indoors.
BAD DOGS have BAD OWNERS as seen in the other reviews written. FULL disclosure of the dogs behavior is expected. If your dog requires to be crated or confined in your home, obviously there are some issues that need professional training for the OWNERS especially and their beloved pets.
WE GIVE EVERY DOG THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, after a 30 minute personality assessment, we will determine if your dog is a match :-) A NO CHARGE DAY visit prior to boarding serves as a LOOK & SEE day to determine if YOUR dog is social & trustworthy in a group of dogs 24/7. Can your dog be part of a pack? Afterall, why would we jeopardize the safety of YOUR GOOD dog with a "problematic" dog.
COME GOOD DOGS AND BRING YOUR GOOD PEOPLE.
THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY, and these reviews are quite dated. DON'T BELIEVE ALL THAT YOU READ.
DECIDE FOR YOURSELF :-)
The worst customer service. Well what can I say? I had the opportunity to talk with this woman briefly on the phone in the attempt to understand her position and likewise to explain my unique situation. I indicated that perhaps, her services would not be suitable for our animal she hung up on me. I was a bit hesitant about our dog adjusting to the accommodations as they were. I felt my initial contact with her was dreadful; when I asked her name, she said why and proceeded to repeat the name of her cannel. I was simply trying to be personal with her. I feel this was A BLESSING from the Lord above. I would not under any circumstances recommend anyone to take their beloved animal to be under this women care. Think about it, if she is this intolerant of people; I find it difficult to believe that she has any more patience with animals.
BE PREPARED. First impressions were great and accomodating. Our puppy came home exhausted from "play" so she said. Interesting that our puppy was locked in a run if we arrived earlier than anticipated and running happy with other dogs if we were on time. Dont be late, be prepared. 15 -20 min off schedule sets this woman off into a hysterical foul mouthed rampage and that was to my 12 year old daughter. Last impression was horrible. She indicated our dog was to be off her property in such a way that you would have thought we hadnt been there for the last 5 weeks, every week, with good reports from her. Be prepared to not want to every see this woman again, have a good life lady, asta la vista.
Don't take your dog here!!.
For anyone considering taking their dog to the Canine Country Club, please be advised.
Although you may believe that the concept of no private kennels for separation sounds great and that there is a very tight screening process in order to keep bad behavioral dogs out, don't be fooled.
The screening process may be there but don't be surprised if the owner at a later date changes her mind about your dog and makes it very clear that you are never welcome again. With no explanation.
The owner is more rude then anything you have ever encountered.
