Bad customer service.
This restaurant was extremely un-gay friendly. My date and I were insulted by our waiter numerous times and then once by the girl that brought our food to the table. I spent a decent amount of money on food that we could not even stomach eating. I will make sure to never venture there again.

Best Restaurant in the Area.
Excellent service and even better food. A staple of the community for years, Kruse & Muer on Main has great seafood dishes, bread you can't stop eating, snazzy drinks for the hip and the good ole reliable cocktails for the tame. My personal favorites are the pasta dishes!! The fact that it is in downtown Rochester where walking and window shopping are a must is a complete bonus.

Great service and marvelous eats! Love the paper tablecloth to doodle on... (doodling ain't just fer the kiddies!) Service was very friendly, courteous, and fast. Great fish prep... and it's a very pleasant atmosphere. (A)

Longtime favorite proves itself time and again with fresh, traditional seafood dishes and comfortable setting..
The Scene
Smack in the heart of charming downtown Rochester, this main street fixture offers diners an easygoing atmosphere. Comfortable booths provide just enough privacy for intimate conversation, hand-holding and a romantic evening out. Brick walls and low lighting bring most conversations down to a hush, making this a good place to relax and unwind. But, people watchers won't be disappointed with tables facing the street side windows.
The Scene
Known primarily for its wonderfully prepared seafood dishes, Kruse and Muer, naturally, offers a wide selection. One favorite, Siesta Key Fettuccine combines shrimp, scallops, crabmeat and artichoke hearts with sweet tomato butter, all served over spinach fettuccine. Fresh fish is flown in daily and specials reflect seasonal favorites. Chicken, steak and pasta dishes round out a menu that rarely disappoints.

Yummy!.
I've been to this restaurant many times and never had a bad meal, but the wine and beer is a little pricey. They also have great fresh bread.

Good but not great.
The service was very friendly but we were looking for an inexpensive place for dinner and the prices on the menu were pricey for a more casual atmosphere than the Chop House.
