definitely best coney here. Definitely another Rochester must (along with Knapp's Dairy Bar). The food is good, it's as fast as you want (and cooked in front of you), prices are OK, atmosphere and cordiality is great. Menu is right to the point, nothing extraneous. Best coney in the Rochester area, definitely. Very eclectic surroundings. Go there during warm weather, sit outside and stare at the ducks (the place adjoins Paint Creek), go to the great city park when you're done. Rochester is terrific. Only drawback of Lipuma's is that I seem to recall that they take no credit cards; if that were changed, they'd make even more money there. Not unusual to see lines out the door, it is popular for good reasons. High marks for the ownership and employees, they are very customer-oriented, witty, and funny.

best coney ANYWHERE. not only is the owner always in, cleaning and overseeing things, but the staff is entertaining and very good at turning out the best and most unique hot dogs on the planet. if more mom & pop shops were run this way, there wouldn't be so many going out of business.

Best hotdogs Around!!!. Lipuma's is the best Coney Island in Rochester! The people and workers in there are so kind! They have the best chili ever! Nothing beats it! I've been to NAtional Coney Island and there hotdogs are sick! You can sit outside or inside! In the summer it is beautiful to sit outside because you are glazing into the paint creek. If you live in Rochester or come to Rochester, Lipuma's is the place to eat!

most original restaurant ever.. This is one of the best restaurants I've ever known, and I'm so glad it's right here in my city. Friendly and hilarious servers, who always greet you with a smile. Their fresh food is just awesome, and you can mix and match a lot of stuff, too. While you're eating inside, you can enjoy all the decorations they have on the wall, or listen to the music and hollers of the guys ringing up a new order. Or you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Lipuma's is a must to experience, and you will be satisfied with a full stomach and wide grin. If it's not enough, their tip bowls are always full.

lipuma's coney island: There ain't none better!. I have never been to such a unique restaurant. The service is great! Witty! Down right hilarious! The food is even better. It is a restaurant that stands above the rest. The food is fabulous. Yummy Tacos, fries, soups, burritos and the best coney island in the USA. A must to go to. You will leave with a smile on your face and a tummy filled with yummy things! Try the tacos. They are the best! The coneys are one of a kind. They don't get any better!

EAT IT ALL. This coney island is the best of the best. It's a coney island restaurant, but not really. They don't serve cheap hot dogs in wimpy buns with small soggy salads. Lipuma's Greek Salad is EXCELLENT, and huge w/ tons of fresh toppings!!!! They have really good homemade soups, and i'm not talking about chicken noodle or tomato, i mean HOMEMADE soups like Italian Wedding Soup. Their fries are sooooo good too! EAT HERE ASAP!!!!!!
