Best Salon in Shelby!. I highly recommend Being Salon to anyone searching for a great new look in an trendy, sophisticated salon. I was greeted immediately by the receptionist and asked if I would like a beverage. Then my stylist (Arlene) greeted me with a big smile. She took time to talk with me about the latest trends and what would look best for my facial structure. She was amazing! I came out looking and feeling great about my "new do!" I have finally found a salon that I will stay with for years to come! Thanks Arlene!

Personal attention and great cut!. Arlene is a fantastic stylist. Very professional and creative, always listens to you before cutting anything! Don't be fooled by the outside of the shop! It's small, but as a result you get lots of personal attention -- not like those uber-trendy salons where one person washes your hair, another colors it, and yet another cuts it. I'm always offered water or coffee when I come in, the staff is very friendly and approachable. Nobody else at the salon has cut my hair, so I can't speak for the other stylists, but I highly recommend Arlene...she's the owner of the salon.

Very pleased!. My daughter and I were referred to Being Salon and we were skeptical until we walked thru the door -- we were impressed with the staff, the decor, and how much time the stylist spent with us to determine a style and color. Keep up the good work!

Great place to get your hair done!. I had a very poor haircut at another upscale salon in Shelby Twp. 2 weeks prior . I had 2 parties this Sat., and couldn't go with such a poor haircut. My husband & kids even commented on how sad my hair looked. I called being Salon Sat. morning,, and Arlene graciously gave me an appt. for Sat. afternoon. She took her time talking to me, saw the problem with my cut immediately, ( never criticizing the other person's work), and diligently set to work fixing the problem, asking questions as she worked about what I wanted, commenting about what needed to be done. Very professional, GREAT CUT AND STYLE! And in a great looking salon. Thank you, being Salon!
