The best Mexican restaurant by far!.
This is my favorite restaurant of all time! My family and I have been going there for years, and a few months ago I've turned my boyfriend on to it. The pricing is very fair and the portions are generous. Just recently started going there for lunch, and you wouldn't believe the food you get for under $6. The chips and salsa they serve before the meal is always fresh and usually the chips are still hot. The food is amazing and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My favorite restaurant.
Anytime we go out I suggest Mexican Village. I love the salsa and margaritas, not to mention the awesome food! The staff is friendly and helpful in suggesting menu items. Although now that I'm a regular I nearly always get the same thing....chicken flautas covered in cheese, sooo yummy! The menu has been updated recently so there are some new things to try. Prices went up a tad, but they are still very low prices. There is no where else we can go for two and spend under $40, (thats with a drink from the bar each) and be totally stuffed!

I could drink the salsa.
Fantastic. Long wait if you go on the weekends but it's well worth it. The paintings and set up adds to the appeal, it looks exactly the same as the one that is in Detroit and if you didn't know it you could think you were there. Good value, great drinks. If you go on your birthday and tell them, they sing and you get a free fried ice-cream.

Editorial Review.
Detroit's first Mexican restaurant sports Spanish mission-style decor and a massive menu of specialties from south of the border.
