Great food Friendly service. Bachelor's one has some of the best "bar food" in town. We have been there on several occasions. Great variety for all age groups. They have home make chicken fingers that the kids will love. Steaks and ribs are some of the best I have ever had. You have to try the breaded deep fried mushrooms. They are awesome. My other favorite is the best coconut shrimp with the marmalade jelly is to die for. Since the bar is now under new ownership, it has become a much friendlier place to hang out. Lots of fun with the live band, pool tables, and video games. Also, a well stocked bar for any drink you can imagine. Great place to take the kids for a family dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Even better now that the smoking law has passes in Michigan. The new owners are really great for the community. They have hosted a few charity events in their short time of new ownership. Overall, good experience, and friendly service.

Would NOT recommend!. My friends & I went to Bachelor's One, not ever having been there. We heard about a band that was going to be there and that was our reason for going-which the band was Great! Let's just say if you are really hungry, don't go here! The food itself wasn't that bad, it was the time it took to get it. And even worse, the food came out at all different times-I'm talking 30 minutes apart. I will say the wait staff was good & attentive, but whoever was in the kitchen did a poor job. Also, there was absolutely no ventilation. It was probably the smokiest bar I have ever been to. I guess it won't be that way too long, since they just passed "No Smoking" in Michigan come May 1, 2010.

The Food Is Really Fantastic. I have dined at Bachelor's One several times, without ever having a bad dish. The food definitely deserves an excellent rating. The seafood is fantastic, and the steak also good. I agree with earlier reviews that the cheesecake is exceptional. The wine list is very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend the menu and the casual atmosphere.

GREAT FOOD. I found Bachelor's One while hanging out with good friends. We order burgers and they were yummy! The menu has alot f variety and great quality. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. I highly recommend this place!

A real winner. One f my new favorite restaurants, and I will tell you all why. Besides the fact that the food is incredible, the menu on point, and ambience perfect, the service is by far the best I have ever received. Very informative and professional servers and the owner/chef stopped by to say hello. I hope everyone has the opportunity to experience this sensational restaurant.
