Always on the List of Food Places to go!!!!.
Everytime I can't think of anything to eat, I think of J. Alexander's(West Bloomfield). I love the lighting at night in the resturant. Very low;gives you a relaxing feel. I have had almost everything on the menu :). Dishes on the menu I reccommend...
Baked Potato soup
Alex's Salad
Grilled Chicken Salad
Veggie Burger
Country Club
Mr.Jack's Chicken Finger platter(and they are big things of white meat chicken. Not kid Chicken Fingers)
Rotisserie Chicken with Smashed Potatoes
Cilantro Shrimp(Very Good, but has a little bit of a after taste to me, but thats just me)
When I go there I always try to sit in Candice's section. Very Nice waitress, friendly, takes care of business!!!!

Never been disappointed.. Try the Thai Kai salad it is excellent! Their small cut fries are amazing as well. Service here is one of the best I have come across anywhere.

The Best....... If you are looking for Grilled Salmon.....(along with the Smashed Potatoes)....this is the very best in Detroit, and trust me, I know my Salmon! We eat at this restraunt at least once a week.....my husband/sons....rave over the NY! Reasonable prices, great food, awesome staff......my only complaint, is getting a seat.....so we time our visits!
