Best Dim Sum Around!!!!. We have been coming to this restaurant for over 5 years and find the food consistent and fresh. The atmosphere is consistent and always very clean. The Dim Sum is always fresh and delicious. I travel all over the world and this is by far the best Dim Sum there is. I would definitely advise anyone who would like a wonderful experience to try this restaurant. You won't be dissapointed!!!

Not that great. I'm originally from HK so I know what is good Dim Sum .. the Dim Sum here isn't that great compared to East Lake Chinese Restarant in Troy (too bad they're closed at the moment). The wait was long but it's ok .. understandable for a Sunday. Service from the owner (the guy at the counter) and the ladies pushing the carts were good, but there's a lady in black -- she was rude !!! Very unprofessional and unfriendly ! Overall the food wasn't that great, and overpriced too.

Really awful generic food and overpriced!!!!. I just came back from this restaurant around 10 minutes ago. It was the worst experience ever. If you want boiled chicken put in the same brown sauce this is the place. The chicken for both of our dishes was uncooked and was in the same sauce even though we ordered two different items. Service staff is good, but the food is just not food. We asked for spicy and we got the generic for everyone's taste. The hot and sour soup had an bad coffee taste to it, meaning it got burnt and they still think it is servable. No matter what other people say DO NOT GO HERE! The food is absolutely horrible - try China Cafe in Novi it is much much much better and authentic. Really you would expect more from a Bloomfield establishment than such awful food. I go out more than four times a week and I can say that this place is the worst ever and has successfully ruined the start of my weekend! Not only am I hungry but I have less money in my pocket too!

BAD FOOD. I oder fried Vancover crab , it came too salty, soggy, overcook, dry, so... I tried to change it, but the wait staff was just sitting on the table and eating pinuts, and trying screaming at me by telling me that the owner is not here and come back tomorrow and change my crab. so I told her I just want my money back. and she was screaming at me " I go to this place every week, and this is the first time the service was bad, and the food was not consistance and it taste really bad. and I highly recommand the service should change and the food should taste the same every day.

Best Chinese in MI!. I have been to many Chinese restaurants all over Oakland and Livingston County, and this one by far is the best! I must agree with the other reviewers about the Dim-Sum, it was very good, if you like dumplings. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and the food. You must try it yourself to be a believer!

Great informal Chinese place. I would submit that the reviewer who came from NY did hit a bad night since having lived in Seattle, than SF and briefly in Hong Kong this would rank as a very solid place. Not overly fancy, which is great for me, but have been for dinner and Dim Sim.

Dim Sum is the best we have had in the Detroit area, on par with a market like Seattle though not SF. Good, not great selection and a good value.

Dinner was the unexpected surprise, one dish wonton/noodle soup was as good as I had in HK - and overall the food was very good to excellent though there was an ocassional miss. Even had Peking duck, and while not the best I - it is quite good. Not sure they do the spicy dishes as well but well worth the visit particularly for Dim Sum.

First Visit. Maybe it's a little unfair to judge this restaurant based on our most recent experiences, we recently relocated here from New York. However, I thought the meal was fair, not excellent like I expected based on the ratings in some local magazines. I will try it again, and try different dishes. You might understand when sampling food at any restaurant, typically you are seeking a specific flavor or taste, and I didn't find it that night. Maybe it wasn't as tasty because it was carry-out, or maybe they were having an off night.

Authentic Chinese Food + Dim-Sum -- open late.... Some of the best chinese food available on the US side of detroit, and it is open until 2am on weekdays. It is authentic and serves chinese delicacies that are not available at most restuarants in the Detroit area. Dim-sum is served on the weekends, there are Karaoke rooms available (also with chinese songs), and the wait-staff can speak Mandarin, FuZhouHua, FuJianHua, and Cantonese. If you are a die-hard chinese-cuisine lover, this is one of the best options that I have found in the Detroit area without crossing the Canadian border.
