Great food, friendly service. I have been going there since shortly after they opened and have always found the food very good. Very rarely poor service and those servers do not last long (and every restaurant gets a few). It has been owned by the same family since the beginning (1970?) I have tried nearly every Mexican restaurant between Flint, Ann Arbor and Detroit and it is still my favorite, especially their Botanas and their own hot salsa. Another plus is they do not stint either the food or on giving you salsa refills (without charging extra like some). For me it is by far the best Mexican restaurant around.

Food was above average service was wonderful. I do not know what everyone is talking about. My family and I went to Mexico Lindo several days ago and the food was top notch. There was no tomato paste salsa nor undercooked food. Everything seemed high quality and full of taste as it has been for years. Service was also wonderful eventhough the dining room was filling up with customers. In my opinion Mexico Lindo is far and away more authentic than nearby El Patio. El Patio is good, but Mexico Lindo is number 1 on my list.

Very, Very, Very Disappointed with an old friend!. I had not been to this place in a few months. When I had gone last summer I was thrilled, food was good, service great and I loved my margartia. I went today during the day, maybe that is what the problem was, the food is now processed, with no taste and service was poor, the salsa tasted like tomato paste! Not sure what happened, new owners??? Please someone from the restaurant respond and tell me that maybe it was just a bad week? What happened to such a great mexican restaurant? Waterford needs your greatness back? Probably won't return. Chicken undercooked, margarita is now a powdery concuction with no taste. Gordon Ramsey needs to go to this restaurant to help them!!!

WONDERFUL FOOD!!!!!!. The best mexican food other than my grandmothers. This was my mother's favorite place to go and she always got the Mariachi Caliente without chips. Everything looks great and smells good.

Most used utensil in this kitchen is a can opener. Based on the reviews that I read on this restaurant, I was looking forward dinner with my family. The food was poor. The best meal had in our group was the cheeseburger off the kids menu. Shreaded chicken from a can and mystery meat that couldn't be distinguished as chicken or beef. The other reviews I read on this location must have been writen by the owner. A great disappointment. Taco Bell serves better. Save yourself from a similar experience...pass on this one.

Awesome Mexican Food. This is the best Mexican food I have ever had. They have really good salsa and chips as well. I love this place!!

WONDERFUL MEXICAN RESTURANT. This is the "BEST" Mexican Resturant around. The food is very good and large portion sized, great for the money. Soft drink refills are free. The chips and salsa are free and are very good. Great parking and a nice decor inside.

We have been eating there since 1969. The staff is very very friendly and attentive. The food is "EXCELLENT". My children (grown now) loved it when they were small. during their dating years, this was the resturant they brought their girlfriends to eat. Now bring their families to eat at this resturant. If you're in the area give it a try. IT'S SURE WORTH IT!! Even the parking lot smells great. Iced Tea and Diet with Lemon on our table before we even get settled. They know us that well!!

Genuine Mexican Food. This is an old-time mom & pop family restaurant. The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. We have eaten here for over 15 years and it has been a pleasure to watch their family and their business grow. When our kids are back in town, this is where we choose to eat. The food this authentic mexican food, drinks are great. Friday nights are busy, but well worth the wait when there is one. Not like the typical box/mall restaurants.

Belly Bustin Tamales. Border Cantina is my favorite but this place comes in a very close second. The servings are large an perfectly cooked. The service was a bit on the slow side and my table was not properly cleaned till I was sat down by the Host......but they were very busy. I continue to return and the service has varied.

Very GOOD food!!. I have been going to Mexico Lindo since I was in elementary school...I'm a senior in college now. I love eating here. The tacos are my favorite. You'll have to try them for yourself. Service is great and has always been friendly.
