TRINI AND CARMENS MY FAMILIES ROOTS IF LIVING. first of all to all those who are rating my families restaurant a drag can look in the mirror AND SEE REAL TRASH. My family are millionaires who not only invest and give back to our communities and charities but also find it important to feel a family atmosphere while eating real authentic and GREAT food. Im glad to here that gingersnapp whatever the screen name is does not return. We don't like negative but would rather constructive criticism in our atmosphere. Haters WE love. We probably own whatever YOU RENT.

THis place is a dump!. Wow...what an utter disappointment this place was! First off, we were shown our table by walking over a floor strewn with food, pieces of paper napkins, etc....it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days! We then sat at our both that had torn vinyl cushions. Not small little tears but gashes. I looked around and all the booths were torn to shreds and looked 20 years old. Our waitress was braindead and spoke in a monotone voice. We were served our chips/salsa and water and waited another 15 minutes before our waitress even showed up. We ordered our meals and waited. When our waitress walked by again 15 minutes after that I asked for a refill our our drinks and water. Food arrived another 10 minutes after that. All in all the food was okay...nothing great. I ordered chicken in my burrito and taco but there was little of that as it was mostly stuffed with beans and cheese. When we got the bill I was SHOCKED to see that I had been CHARGED for the second basket of chips($1.50)...what a ripoff. I did not see it on the menu and was not told off it what I asked for another basket. Seriously, the tradition is free chips at Mexican places...don't be all cheap and start charging for extra baskets..and if you do at least be clear about it. I was also charged for chili on my nephews burrito(she asked, "Do you want chili on top?" to him again never saying there was and extra charge)...also was charged for the second refills on the pops(again, very cheap of them...a glass of pop is like 5 cents of cost....). Between the average food, average service, absolutely filthy conditions of the dining area I won't be back. Add the fact that they nickle and dimed me for such stupid things I'll make sure I let everyone know what a dump this place is.

Love it!. This is a great mexican restaurant. Their guacamole dip is yummy as well as the rest of the food. Now about their nachos, good yes, but the only negative thing i have to say about that is that there is only cheese on top and they give you lots of chips you would expect most of the chips to cheesed up but the type of cheese they put on can be pulled off on top and reveal a bunch of chips. I do love the place though I usually get the fajitas for two with my husband or deal with the nachos (chicken) they really are yummy.

Taco bell on a plate. Not very good. Go to Taco Bell and save money. Food was cold and tasteless. Service was good but who cares if the food stinks

Get the super nacho if you don't like meat. I visited Trini & Carmen's Waterford location on a Thursday night. It wasn't crowded, but the atmosphere was lovely. The waitress was very friendly as well as the other workers that were there. The chips they brought to the table were warm and HOMEMADE!!!!!!. A definte must have. We ordered the Super nacho. It was beautiful, but when we begin to eat, there was not enough meat for the amount of chips that was on the plate. We thought all of us (3) would be able to eat and get full. That would've been the case if the nacho wasn't all chips. We won't EVER order that again. We then ordered the Fajitas for two with steak & chicken. It was WONDERFUL!!! There was enough meat, vegetables, everything. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. I most likely will return, just not to get a nacho.
