UGH! – I love good Chinese food, but this isn't it. I left thinking to myself, if people come here to eat more than once, then they will eat anything.

A positive: The person who waited on us was very nice.

The negatives: I ordered a Coke and only took one sip, that was enough. It tasted really bad, as if the pop machine and the lines had not been cleaned in a very long time.

The hot and sour soup was the color of butternut squash and was the consistency of (I'm sorry) slime, but it was spicy.

We asked for no msg so the pork fried rice had no flavor, it was also greasy and the pork was fatty.

The gai kow was edible but we couldn't taste anything other than a lot of garlic.

The egg rolls tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in the deep fryer for quite a while.

If you want to know what fantastic Chinese food taste like, in my opinion, go to Gourmet Garden in Farmington Hills at Middlebelt and 12 mile road. I drive there from Grand Blanc as often as I can because they have some of the best Chinese food I have ever had.

Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices! – We recently ate at Chung's and had a great experience. The waitstaff practically fell over themselves to make our evening enjoyable. The owners came by and talked to us about their original restaurants in Detroit that I remember from my childhood. The homemade Chung's egg rolls are still to die for. Our main courses (Almond Boneless and General Tso's chicken) melted in our mouths. Their Hot and Sour soup was excellent. The portions are large. The only let down was that they no longer have the oversized Almond Cookie of my youth. The prices are moderate and we only had to wait a few minutes for a table on Friday night. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
