Excellent food, friendly atmosphere, great service. I've been going here since the 70s and it is still owned by the same family. The food is excellent, the service is great and the atmosphere is very friendly. The burgers and Irish stew are well known favorites but I haven't had anything bad here, ever. It's a great place to relax and have a drink or something to eat

Reviewer more for out-of-towners. Being from out of town I thought I'd add my comments about this place. First, if you are driving to this place, watch your speed as it's 35mph (I got pulled over for speeding). the atmosphere on a saturday was a younger crowd but seem to be a very nice crowd as everyone was very friendly. The people that worked there were very nice as well. It's a very nice place to go and drink and relax. If you want drinks in a rush, probably not a good place as it's also a restaurante so be patient.

Awesome!. Best bar in the area. Great food, friendly service. Just like Cheers. After a couple of visits, the staff will greet you by name and know what you drink. Patrons are friendly as well and strike up a conversation about whatever game they are watching. Be sure to ask for an Amy Lou shot.
