Favorite Sushi spot in metro Detroit! It is a small place, but the food and service are amazing! i usually go for sushi, but love the Bi Bim Bop when you need to be warmed up!

My favorite sushi place. I go here about 2 times a month and love it. The sushi is top notch and always fresh. The wait staff is wonderful. We are always taken care of very promptly and the sushi chefs are very friendly. I love the cozy atmosphere. This is not a upscale pretentious sushi restaurant. It is a very casual sushi restaurant and they have their stuff together! The manager is great, I miss her on Thursdays but the other waitress is also very sweet and good at what she does.

Best sushi, great prices, friendly wait staff and sushi chefs. Sushi Ko is the best place to get sushi in the metro area. They have a friendly and energetic staff, reasonable priced rolls and a full menu of Japanese cuisine. The small restraunt is very cozy and clean. We have been going to Sushi Ko for years and have been to two other sushi restraunts in the area and they were a little more expensive and not as friendly, and the rolls were smaller too.

Fantastic sushi, reasonable prices, great take-out. This is the ONLY sushi bar I recommend in town, mainly because their quality is always great and the price is right. I've been to many of the more expensive and trendy places in town (for example Nami, which is terrible for service and mediocre-at-best quality, and Little Tree which is super expensive and Ok quality) and this little place in the strip mall far surpasses them! Another bonus, for me, is that there's a pizza place in the strip mall too, so you can reward your sushi-intolerant significant other for keeping you company.

Decent sushi - Unprofessional and ridiculous waitstaff. Had lunch there today. The waitress was not the least intersested in serving us at all. (Incidently, she seemed so much more enthusiastic 5 min. later when Caucasian people came into the restaurant). She was indifferent and even impatient with us as we made our order. After we paid the bill and were getting ready to leave (but had not left the table yet) --- she came up to pick up her tip and began to chew us out for not leaving enought!!!! Who the crazy does that?????? If she had a problem with her tip, she coudl've calmy and professionally asked us what the reason was and how she could improve our visit for the future. No such thing --- she became irate and was hysterical. While the food is cheaper than other sushi places, the experience made us so disgusted that we will certainly NEVER NEVER go back. No mediocre sushi is worth that.
