Best Pizza. Their pizza is heaven, I don't know what they do different than other places (I heard goat cheese) but it's great. I recommend sausage & pepperoni. My family has been going there since I was a little kid for all occasions and we have never gotten a different pizza, just can't mess with the best. The chicken fingers are also heaven, different than anywhere else and the batter is light. Ranch is homemade so if you're picky about your ranch, get it here. They have video games up front and I remember as a kid my dad would give me quarters to go play centipede when I was done eating to keep me busy.

Buddy's is a Detroit institution ("since 1946"). It's loud and family-friendly, with TVs everywhere, and serves distinguished, if not risky, pizza; the furthest away from traditional it gets is the gourmet vegetarian pizza with cauliflower and broccoli. The unusual crust is one reason Buddy's delights; it's barely there and yet crisp as can be. A wide range of fried appetizers, homemade soups, burgers, sandwiches and pastas is also available.

Not even Pizza!. OK Detroiters, just what do you think Pizza is? Because this is not it. It's bread with a little cheese and some sauce on top. It's horrible. It went twice just to make sure that I didn't hit a bad night the first time. Domino's makes better pizza than this place.

I grew up in Chicago where even the worst pizza blows Buddy's cheese bread/pizza away. Do yourself a favor and get a real Chicago style pizza some day, you'll never eat Buddy's again.
