HORRIBLE COMPANY. AVOID THESE
INCOMPETENT JERKS AT ALL COSTS. You WILL be very disappointed if you use them. This company does not seem to get that they are a providing a service - or rather a huge DISservice.
The only people in the company worth speaking to are the maintenance crew who actually make the repairs. These guys are decent and want to help. NBP has a high turnover in maintenance crews though because they are a TERRIBLE company and treat people like crap.
We are speaking to a real estate lawyer today to see if it would be worth suing them.
We had maintenance issues at the home we rented from day #1. The day we moved in we found 5 burnt-out bulbs and every faucet in the house leaked. It only got extremely worse from there. The entire yard infested with rats, the neighbors pit-bulls broke through the rotted fence on multiple occasions. The second-story window was so ill-fitting that we were afraid to touch it for fear it would fall out of the house onto the driveway below. Water is currently leaking from the bathroom into the kitchen light fixture. They have "repaired" it twice with CAULK. The bathroom leaks so much water that the siding and wooden window frames on the side of the house are rotting and falling off in chunks. The front door locks didn't work the day we moved in. They never replaced the lock, they rigged it with screws and shims so it would appear locked. Most of the window screens were torn. Half the windows had broken locks. The windows were dirty. The washer and dryer need a full cleaning. One of the smoke detectors had a dead battery. Water is leaking into our ceiling kitchen fixture for the last 3 weeks. We fear for fire every day when we leave the house.
When we call in a complaint Amanda sends a bitchy response. I have email records of every claim I'm making.

Unprofessional. If you are considering renting a property from north bloomfield properties i highly recommend that you find an alternative option if at all possible.
very unprofessional. Always hidden
fees. They never get back with you and when you finally reach them they don't do what they are paid to do. I went all the way to the owner about the fees and and
Fixing the same problem over and over, talking to him was a waste of my time. It is more of a headache to hire them than to rent your place your self! can't wait for this contract to end!
Unprofessional management company! All they are good for is collecting the rent, they don't return calls or make repairs. The owner is always to blame for any and everything when you do get them to return calls! We have even called the state to just get repairs made. I would never recommend anyone live in a home that they manage, you will be ignored unless your rent is late then you can't get rid of them. You would do better to work with the owners yourself!
Maintenance. Brandi and her maintenace team Have fine services, they showed up quickly and fixed the problem proptly. Your quick responses and resolutions are excellent and I greatly appreciate it!!!
Love it!. North Bloomfield Properties had such fast prompt service, I cant imagine being a tenant for any othe company!
Such fast service!. I had a Regular maintenance issue and it was fixed so quickly! It makes me feel good to know that if it was a real emargency that it would have been taken care of even faster than that!
Unprofessional - As a homeowner, I was unsatisfied.
As a homeowner everything appeared to start out great. They got the house rented, and signed a lease. Then they informed me that the tenants had 3 large dogs and smoked. They didn’t take in any additional deposit. Their response was, “I thought you wanted this rented out quickly?” I did, just not at the detriment of my house.
Fast forward a few months, and the tenant stopped paying. NBP never filed a 7 day or quit. In fact, they never even filed a court date for eviction. They just kept letting the tenant live there.
Be aware the NBP keeps your first months rent as their payment. Then they hold pay you on the or about the 4th day of the proceeding month. So, if you rent your house Jan.1, they keep the first month. The tenant pays Feb 1, and you get your money on or about March 4th. This normally works out fine. But, they never let you know when the tenant stopped paying. So, it took me over a month to find out that the tenant was in arrears.
It’s been 5 months since my tenant stopped paying. It’s been 2 months since my tenant moved out. I have still not received my security deposit money nor my cleaning fee.
I thought maybe it was just me. But, my neighbor whom I referred to them is also having the same issues. Tenannt not paying, etc. One other thing to keep in mind is that they keep any late fees that might get paid, but as the homeowner you are responsible for all court costs. That is if you can ever get them to do that.
In my opinion, the money that you pay NBP monthly is nothing more than paying someone to go to the bank and cash a check, and write you another one. Be aware of the situation you are getting into.
NBP: The Definition of Unprofessional. Without getting into the facts of my own experience, I will submit that this office is as dysfuntional and unprofessional as it gets. It's "agents" are inept, do not return calls, and do not have your best interests in mind. I would never recommend this company to a person I want to remain friends with.
Professional!. We would like to tell you thank you about how we are lucky to have Ms. Beth and Mr. Bill and all their professional care!
