The Best Chinese Food !!!. I am a very particular person when it comes to Chinese food. This restaurant is exceptional in every way - period!

Their food is delicious, the service is excellent and the environment is exceptional! I have eaten inside of the restaurant and also done carry out. Both, are excellent in the quality and taste of their food.

The very best Chinese food that I've ever had! I've lived in Asia - China Cafe is outstanding !!!

Try them! You will not be disappointed!

Happy to come back. As a non-native to Michigan, I was extremely skeptical about comnig to here. Walking in, I was surprised by how full the place was, and how many people were walking out with Carry Out.

As for the ambiance, I would say if your favorite little Italian place in New York was tranformed into an Italian restaurant, then you'd have China Cafe. We ordered a mix of American Chinese food and food from the Korean side and were pleasantly surprised by both. The modern asian fusion food was great, and yet the basic Korean spicey seafood soup was likely the best I've had in the United States. Full of flavor and ingredients, this restaurant is a great blend of old world Asian cuisine and modern flare.

Did I mention that this place is clean?

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!. This is the best asian restaurant .....................the Flavors ,, portions and price were perfect... clean ,clean ,clean.... it was refreshing to eat in a place that truly care what they serve thier customers ...

if you are sick and tired of the the normal breaded,, goooooooooooooy,, MSG,, infused asian food ..... Try this place !!!! China Cafe !!!!! you'll love it !!!!! i know i did...

Best Chinese restaurant around!. This is one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure to visit. The people that work there are great, everyone has a smile on their face and are happy to serve you. Our waitress Tracy was very helpful and recommended the asparagus beef and the firecracker shrimp, both dishes were delicious and you can tell that they make their dishes fresh when you order. I live in Livonia and will be driving to Novi from now on to get my carryout. I urge everyone that enjoys great Chinese Food to try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

Best Chinese I've ever had.. I highly highly highly recommend this restaurand for several reasons.

First, the service is superb. I've always said that you can go anywhere to get good food, but what people remember is the service. When you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile, and when you leave you always get a thank you...whether it be from the hostess or from one of the owners from behind the bar, they make a point to let you know they are thankful you chose their restaurant. It isn't just the regulars that get the warm greetings and goodbyes...I always sit at the bar and eat, so I am near the door and can hear them. It is literally every person that walks in the door that is made to feel like they have been coming their all their lives!

Secondly, the food. Earlier I said that you can get good food from anywhere...because I believe that if you are a restaurant , especially in this economic time, that you server "good" food...and people are relatively satisfied. I can tell you with complete honesty that I have NEVER been disappointed with a meal I've eaten at China Cafe. I have been going there for over 6 years, usually at least once a week...and I have tried almost everything on the menu (and a lot of things not on the menu!). If you are in one of those finicky moods, just let them know what you feel like and they will accommodate you. Another thing I'd like to mention about the food is the pride the owners take in every dish that is served. Kelly (one of the owners) is in the kitchen each night, working on the line and cooking alongside his kitchen staff...he takes great pride in the dishes that they create and it shows in the quality of food that they serve to their guests.

Lastly, the atmosphere is incredible. Definitely not what you would expect to find in any Chinese restaurant, especially one tucked in a small plaza. The decor is modern, with a Chinese flair (a fusion if you will!) You can easily spot the influences of the Asian culture without it being like what many of us imagine a typical Chinese restaurant looks like. I think that the genuine friendliness of the owners and the staff somehow carry over to the guests. I say that because I always see smiling happy faces, either in the dining room or at the comfortable bar. I always eat at the bar, and the other guests are always conversing and laughing and enjoying themselves...it truly is an experience.

Anyone who enjoys great food and a comfortable atmosphere needs to make a visit to 10 Mile and Novi road.

Outstanding Food and Service. From just the website and location, I asked for a buffet dinner to be delivered for 50 people in town for a competition. What a great find!! From the moment I called, they could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Food was delivered early, hot and in great quantity complete with chopsticks, plates, napkins, serving utensils, fortune cookies and even little signs to identify the different trays. The food got rave reviews and the cost per person was cheaper than our boxed lunches! We will definitely be calling again when we return next year.

IMPOLITE HOSTESS. WE MADE RESERVATIONS AT THIS RESTAURANT FOR MY BIRTHDAY. WHEN WE ARRIVED WE GREETED THE HOSTESS. WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE A FEW MINUTES. AS I SAW WALK-INS BEING SEATED, I WENT TO THE HOSTESS AND REMINDED HER THAT WE HAD RESERVATIONS. SHE SAID THEY WERE BUSY AND WE WOULD BE SEATED WHEN THERE WAS AN AVAILABLE TABLE. I WAS NOT HAPPY AND SHE WAS RUDE AS SHE TOLD ME IT PAID TO BE NICE. I WOULD NOT GIVE MY BUSINESS TO PEOPLE WHO DID NOT CARE AND WE LEFT AND WENT TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT WHO TREATED US LIKE GOLD.

FANTASTIC. Great place to eat, hang out for a cocktail or pickup a carryout. The food was fantastic and the owner you can tell takes great pride in his food. I sat at the bar to eat. Very little smoke and the service was perfect.

Reliably good food, Great atmosphere. It is perhaps the best Chinese food store in the entire area. The people are very amiable and the food is consistently good. I have the orange chicken almost once a week as my reward for making it through the week. I have also dined there with friends and the atmosphere is not what you'd expect to be lying along a strip mall; it is very sheik. My only critique was that the egg roll recipe has changed and not for the better. Aside from that, I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Chinese and classy atmospheres.
