run away.... sad thing i really don't want to give them a star.. but i live there for a year..when i moved in they told me its pretty quit and the apts. were so nice ill give them that..but after we move in there was a gun shooting next to the apt they put me in and they told me that it was just new that it never happens but i was dumb believed them..plus Security was there they were nice at first then they started to harassed me and my company to were my company wouldn't come over. they searched their cars.. i complained to the office they told me that they were just doing there jobs.. i saw the Security one day let themselves into my neighbors apt. when she was not home and the office told me that they didn't have a key and i was a liar..so just to warn you there is a lot of drugs and shooting and it is very unsafe to live there.i couldn't even feel safe walking to my car and they will keep your deposit even if your apt looks brand new they kept mine..

Please read this and DO NOT move here!!!!!. I moved into the Kings Lane community during the winter months and it was pretty quiet, I very rarely saw my neighbors and had no problems. As soon as the weather turned and the Spring months brought warm weather, every drug user, drug dealer, teenage misfit within a 10 block radius swarmed to the apartment community. Security is on site but they are unable to handle the many complaints they receive from the residents who are concerned for their safety. I can not walk to or from my car without being harassed by my disrespectful neighbors. There are people constantly sitting on the steps of the apartments so that it makes it difficult for you to even have access to your apartment. I can not have guest without them being harassed by the neighbors also. i have made numerous complaints to management and they have done nothing about the neighbors, when I asked them to let me out of the lease because I did not feel safe, they denied my request. My neighbor is currently on parole, he has stated to me that he was in prison for rape and murder, I am a single female and this environment is unacceptable. If you value quietness, safety, and family values, this is definitely not the place for you.

Kings lane apts. score very low with me. I had heard from many people that kings lane never gives deposits back...but I still had faith that people still do the right things. Boy was I wrong, I lived there a whole year and paid full price of 580.00 a month and when I left I was complimented on how clean the place was left and I cleaned the carpets till they looked new. I did everything by the book and they still say ...I... owe them and to please remit it immediately or they will have to turn it into the collection agency for a lousy 37.00. Well I will pay that as soon as I get my 300.00 deposit back!!!!!!

Getting Better. I just moved in kingslane in january and I can honestly say that its getting better. The staff in the office are very nice. They are cleaning up the complex. The apartments are really nice.
