REALLY wish I had of seem some of these comments prior to purchasing a vehicle from this place. Test drove the vehilce and it was a nice drive had a few things wrong that should of been a quick fix. Was told to make a list, and I did of all that I saw was wrong. They would have it done on that Monday.
Well that Monday I was told that there where more things wrong than I could of even saw. EVEN THOUGH they did fix is all for FREE. My question is why would you sell a vehilce like that to people? Yeah I know making money off of people (females) that do not know any better. It was a week later that I even picked the vehicle up. And still had to take it back the next week to have some other stuff done. I called to see if some of arraingements could be made as far as chaning my due date, but they would not even work with me. They where competely rude. Stating at first I was behind...how am I behind when I DIDNT even have the car. (I would give names but it doesn't even matter, they wouldn't care). Then on that Sunday which was a cold and snowy day. On way to church the tire came OFF the RIM. It did not have any of the adhesive on there at all.
Now I am stuck with this vehicle that till I pay it off. BUT I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO THEIR FOR SALES.....SHOP AROUND WHICH IS WHAT I SHOULD OF DONE.
Horrible place to buy vehicles from. Please don't waste your time and money. These people need to be shut down for business. They do not sell decent cars at all. Their prices are high and they are highly unprofessional. I had made a certain payment arrangement with one of their accounting people, and received a call only to be harrassed by a different accounting person who revoked my original payment arrangement.
My husband and I went to the Lansing RPM looking for a vehicle. We loved the salesman and the service that we worked with to buy the car and we asked for some things to get the car to our personal specifications. Everything we asked for was put in the car. We selected the car and no one forced us or pressured us to look or buy anything different it was our choice. There was no gun to our heads forcing us to buy the car. They were nice, professional, great people to deal with. We even got more for our trade in for what we wanted and he lowered the price of the car we purchased without us asking. All around I would recommend RPM to anyone who is looking for a car.
I wouldn't give these people a dime.... – Myself and my cousin went to Lansing in search of a vehicle. She had a pretty decent amount of $$ on her, as a last option we stopped at RPM since we have seen their commercials on TV. We didn't get any help at first. There was 3 workers standing outside smoking right by the front door, when we went inside, we we're only asked if we we're paying cash or financing. Once we told him we were paying cash, he took us out to the lot, parked behind another car right next to a dumpster was a little tiny cavalier, that was rusted, the molding around the doors was hanging, there was a crack in the windshield, the dash board was falling apart. We test drove the car, and when we came back, the salesman said he could get her into this car for $2,500. I kbb'd it real fast and in Great condition the vehicle was only worth $1,600. I will NEVER go back to that place, and I will make sure everyone I know, never does either. My cousin did find an amazing car, at an amazing price. at A & A RENTAL on Cedar. She's had it for a couple months now and nothing is wrong with it!.. I will recommend everyone I know to go to A & A. They are honest people!!! And that is very rare when it comes to buying vehicles.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! – Don't waste your time even stopping there. Test drove 3 vehicles, 2 shook so bad you would of thought the tires were going to fall off and the other 1 had a broke drivers seat..sat at an angle. They kept saying, we can fix that...well obviously if you have cars on the lot available for test driving, they should be fixed already.
Stay Away – I was looking for a family vehicle, and I happened to run across RPM, let me just say the experience with them was unpleasant. I walked around their car lot noticing all their used vehicles are in pretty rough shape; high mileage, ripped seats, rust, dents, bald tires, etc. After 20 minutes with no assistance, I decided to walk into the building and ask for some help, not that I didn't get any help, I got to experience the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Four car salesmen were sitting in the building shooting the bull. One of them who was sitting on his chair with his legs up on his desk, screamed across the building and said,"what can I do for you." And I replied, " I am looking for a family vehicle." He replied, " Oh, they are out there, let me know if you want to test drive." And I said " I already know which ones I want to test drive." And his next respond was, " Are you paying in full or you need finance?" And I thought " Seriously? you sit on your chair when you talking to your customer, and asked me the method of payment before I can put my feet in the vehicle?" So I just walked away.
The bottom line: If you want poor car, salesman and customer service. Go to RPM auto sale. Satisfaction Guaranteed.
DO NOT GO HERE...STOP & RUN THE OTHER WAY – Okay these people have to either do drugs or drink everytime they get home from work because I don't know how they can live with themselves otherwise, unless they are sociopaths. Point Blank, they rob the poor! To elaborate..this is the deal. You have poor credit, you go there. They sell you a car at an inflated price that will break. you can only get it fixed there so they control. then when warranty is up you can no longer pay for payments plus fix car, bam, you get repo'd, then they turn around and take the repos and re sell them to the next guy. A few years later after the interest has built up you will get sued. And that's the name of the game. rpm really stands for RePoMan.
wrost place to buy vehicles – If you have bad credit and don't know about fixing cars go to paradise motors. The salemen will tell you, "...that car just came in, we haven't had time to even look at it." BULLSHIT they never look at any of the vehicles before they are sold. the first time they will ever be looked at it is about a month after they are bought and the customer brings it back. They give illigal loaners out if you car becomes totaled or your motor blows up, but that's only if you are a girl in a short shirt or had a very large down payment. They will never fix your car all the way. The boss is nice to your face, he'll yell at the mechanics when you are there to, "get it done". Yet after you leave he won't let them buy even cheap parts for your car. He only wants to get parts used from their junkyard, which may take months. I know better now, never buy a car from these crooks!
