Wish I could give it -10 stars! – WORST FOOD AND SERVICE EVER!!!!!! When we first got there the hostess seemed nice enough (at first) and sat us. Our waitress came and took our order but didn't write down the fact that he wanted his burger well done... she had to come back after the cook asked her. That would have been totally understandable if that was the only problem. Our food came a little too fast (when you order a $14 fish dinner it is not a good thing when it is served within 4-5 minutes). Plus they gave us the bill with our meal which I find to be pretty rude. She asked us how the food was before we could actually eat it and never returned except with a refill and didn't say another word to us the rest of the time. Back to the food... I ordered the 1/3 lb lake perch meal with veggies, and diced potatoes with a side salad. The fish was by no means an actual dinner portion. It was still covered in skin and barely had any meat to it. It also still had bones in it and I found this out when I felt a very sharp pain trying to swallow a bite. The "fresh" veggies and diced potatoes looked and tasted like chewy microwaved frozen veggies. His burger was also not fresh meat. You can tell if the patty looks prepackaged because it has a very uniform shape. He said it tasted like a bland veggie burger. His french fries were under cooked. The only thing that we did enjoy were the cokes we ordered. We really did try to eat the food but it made us feel ill because it was so gross. The worst part is that I put all of my food on the edge of the table and was completely ignored. We were sat right next to the opening to the kitchen and had someone walk by 5-7 times and no one stopped to ask why my food was uneaten. Our waitress, a glorified food runner, spent more time in the kitchen chatting than she did with any of her customers. As I said she never came back to the table the entire rest of our stay. After 15-20 minutes of waiting and waiting we finally walked up to the hostess to make her aware of our dissatisfaction. She had the audacity to admit that she noticed that I looked unhappy with my meal, but she obviously didn't care enough to stop and ask why or even have the decency to send our waitress over. I told her that my food was uneaten and that the waitress never stopped back and that I wanted it removed from my bill. She instantly became less than polite and said she had to go look at my food and speak to her manager. Both her and the manager stood in the doorway of the kitchen and gave us dirty looks as if they were annoyed. When she returned she did not even apologize nor did the manager come speak to us. BAD BAD SERVICE FROM 3 EMPLOYEES. Would you go back and pay for that. I don't think so.
