MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! – NO Stars for this business... forced to give her one star to post this review. This woman is the WORST, most argumentative owner of a shop ever! Went in with my friend to order flowers for her wedding - not only was the owner RUDE and disputing the colors and types of flowers for the bouquet - they would not even deliver to the temple on the wedding day - she (shop owner) did a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT color palette - My friend ordered 2 different colors of hydranges in shades of light and dark purple/blue, 2 colors of peonies (wine & pale pink), 3 colors of roses pale pink, slightly darker pink and cream --- and what was in the bouquet? NO HYDRANGES... ORANGE/PEACH & HOT PINK & LAVENDER ROSES and HOT PINK Peonies and freaking berry & dill filler... and whoever ordered the tiny white accent orchids that looked awful... we didn't! Oh and the snap dragons.... NO ONE ordered snap dragons! Then we have the situation addressed with the owner and she argues and LIED! YES LADY you are a BIG NASTY LIAR and HORRIBLE to do business with and your taste and arranging is awful. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN WITH YOUR BUSINESS YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR OR ORDER BUT YOU WILL GET RIPPED-OFF AND BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE. STAY AWAY!
GREAT Custom Bouquets – I don't know if it is because I treat my Girlfriend well... or I'm a bone head, but I do not buy flowers too often for my girlfriend. But it was our First year Anniversary, and I did my usual (not planning ahead) and stopped by this place I just happened to drive by.
I was VERY happy. Great service, The girl who helped me basically walked me through the store and asked me to point at what my girlfriend likes... So I pointed at one flower and she proceded to put together an amazing arrangement. Not too bad either about $35. Way better than spending $25 at Gelsons and peeling the price tag off in the car.
Stunning, Beautiful, Gorgeous! (And GREAT, OUTSTANDING service!) – I'm an "almost" local, having moved here from out of state many years ago. I buy flowers often, and have paid anywhere from a few dollars at the Wholesale Mart, to way, way too much at another florist. My wife is a fine artist and a total flower-head. All that said, we have NEVER seen floral work like this, at almost any price. And (bonus!) they've been able to deliver quickly, or at what would be almost impossible times!
If you want a total treat, simply ask for the designer's choice. It will be unique, off-the-charts gorgeous! I'm giving them 5 stars because that's as high as the ratings bar will go.
And, hey, tell them "Will" sent you. (It won't mean anything, as they have a zillion customers, but I'm curious as to how many people will actually read this far down into the review.)
Disclaimer: I do not own or have any investment in this business. I do not even know personally anyone at the shop; they are just the "owner" and "designer" and "delivery" people. Whoever they are, they are *awesome*!
Horrible, Arrogant, Rude – Horrible customer service. The woman (owner?) is a total b*#ch. I had a cool idea for an arrangement and instead of just helping me out with it or at least offering cool alternatives, she made me feel like an idiot. When I asked about delivery I got nothing but excuses and a long-winded "explanation" about her drivers or something. Unprofessional, overpriced, and the selection isn't SO good that you need to endure the attitude. There are plenty of other options in a city this size.
Worst customer service EVER – Instead of just making the arrangement the way I requested, I got an arrogant ear full of all the excuses and reasons why my idea was stupid. Blah, blah, blah.
I wanted to say, "look I'm paying for this, just do what I want." But then I realized, "I'm PAYING for this and I don't feel like paying to be scolded" So I just left.
I would use them again.. – PART II - A couple of hours later the arrangement I ordered was delivered with profuse apologies. My wife said it looked GEORGOUS! Thank you Secret Garden.
PART I - I really wanted to like this place. I used them based on the recommendation of a friend, the recommendations I read on CitySearch and their website. But when I ordered a $100 arrangement for my wife's birthday specifiying roses and calla lilies -- a combination of flowers that has a great deal of meaning to us -- that's not what arrived. Instead, my wife got a beautiful arrangement of flowers that includes roses, tiger lilies and a bunch of other flowers. I could not have been more specific or more clear about my order. I had an extensive discussion about what I wanted with the person to whom I spoke. When I called to speak with the owner about the matter, instead of soft words and profuse apologies, she sounded upset and somewhat suspicious. She checked the order and said that her designer had only indicated lilies not calla lilies. She offered to collect the wrong order and replace it with the correct one. An offer I accepted. I let you know what the new arrangements look like...to becontinued.
Beautiful work every time! – My fiancee and I are former NYers and have dealt with a lot of rude people in our time. The owner is a former NYer as well and what some people (in the other reviews) might think rude is simply a straight-forward business attitude. She has never been nothing but great to us, even recommending other flowers when the ones we wanted weren't "fresh" enough. She cares about the quality of her product. We are also getting married back in NY and she recommended some florists to us and said if we mention her name we might get a break in price. In addition, for every occasion, dinner parties, Valentine's day, my birthday etc., my fiancee and I buy flowers and arangements from My Secret Garden and they are always FABULOUS and commented on by guests. They do the most amazing presentation and we are always satisfied.
Would Not Shop There Again – The owner has a bad attitude. She is curt and "put out" when answering a question or taking an order. This happened on two separate occasions. Because of the poor customer service, I would not shop there.

Great Florist – Every time I go there, the staff are incredibly helpful in coming up with the right arrangements based on me telling them "I need something pretty". I've pruchased from them several and have never been disappointed.
