Nice! – We had a wonderful meal, with great service. We were up on the mezzanine it was very romantic!
Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, wonderful service. LOVE Christos! – I had no idea what to expect going to Christos for the first time, but it blew me away! It's amazingly easy to get to (even being downtown), parking surrounds the block, the atmosphere is AMAZING; it is so beautiful and romantic (esp if you go at night). The food is beyond good and the service is great. I am getting married and having my reception there in March and Georgia is such a dream to work with. Every experience I've had with Christos has exceeded my expectations so far and hopefully I'll be able to say the same after the wedding. A+ choice for lunch, dinner or event!
Wonderful! – I had my wedding and reception here last January. The food was spectacular as is Georgia the event planner. The kabobs were moist and perfectly seasoned, the gyros were some of the best I have had. All the food was amazing and my guests (even the kids) went back for seconds.
Romantic – The ambience is very romantic. It's usually decorated with white tulle in anticipation of an upcoming wedding. Service is friendly, portions are large and the food is quite tasty. We love the dip sampler and have been known to fill up on it and have our entrees boxed.
Whether you're planning an intimate dinner, an elegant night on the town or a huge reception, it delivers. – In Short
This appealingly metropolitan restaurant in stately Union Depot offers richly satisfying Cypriot cuisine, served with Old World class and charm. The ceilings are high, the feel is ornate and it lends itself perfectly to parties and receptions. Order a round of appetizers as a meal--choose gooey saganaki (flaming kasseri cheese) or succulent manitaria (mushrooms stuffed with crab)--or move on to an entree, such as tavas (lamb in a savory tomato sauce) or shrimp Mykonos (shrimp with feta). Linger over Greek coffee and hearty rice pudding.
The Food Was Dee-Lish! – I recently used Christos to cater a company lunch for 30 guests. They were very flexible with their catering options, and priced pretty reasonably. The food was more than excellent, and there was more than enough for everyone. Our order wasn't 100% prepared as scheduled when we picked it up; however, the owner?/catering guy drove all the way from minneapolis just to deliver our baklava in person. I would most definitely dine there again. I can't really speak to the ambiance, parking, or waitstaff, but the food may be worth it. Check it out as a quick lunch place - I was there at noon on a Friday and there was literally only a few people in there.
cheap and delicious – This is a lovely restaurant that one could only find in Saint Paul, a beautiful space, delicious and cheap food, and never too crowded. In fact, the absence of crowds sometimes gives this beautiful restaurant a soporific air. Best to go with friends!
