Needs More Reviews – I have had many massages before and I have never felt as though I wasn't being listened to. I made it clear that I was in pain from too much pressure during the massage and I was simply told to breath through the pain. I was uncomfortable for 90% of the massage. I'm sure that she is good at what she does but she needs to listen to her clients. If they are saying it hurts and that it's too deep, then back off a bit. I'm not going to feel any better or any more relaxed if I'm in pain the entire duration of the massage. I scheduled another appointment thinking that it was just me and then didn't go to the appointment because I couldn't lift my arms over my head for the next day. I've never had such a severe reaction to massage. This was too much at one time and I didn't feel any of the normal benefits I have in the past from this massage. Listen, listen, listen to what your clients are telling you about how they feel physically and emotionally during a massage and adjust to what they say. I personally cannot just breath through the pain because I am in pain, actual physical pain from what you are doing to my body.

Jill:

I am so sorry for not listening. That is so opposite of the way I usually operate.

I realized toward the end of the massage that your body wasn't responding normally and that I should have gone softer. I am sorry for my mistake and for not responding to what you were saying.

I hope you will accept my apology and give me a chance to make it right.

Treece ( I was exhausted that day and needed a day off. It wasn't you, it was me)

Best Massage Ever! – Update to my original review:

The insurance discount was for a limited time only in 2009, so please disregard that information. But I can say that as of 1 year later, I am still getting regular massages and this has changed my life for the better. My pelvis was out of alignment when I started this therapy, and it has been amazing to see how massage of the muscles pulls your bones back into place. I have found such relief throughout my entire back and will continue massage over other methods of treatment.

Great Massage Therapist – I've been seeing Treece for nearly a year after searcing on City Search for a massage therapist in Saint Paul. When I started seeing her, I had knots and tension in my upper back and shoulders. At Treece's recommendation, I started visiting her every three weeks and we've gradually worked down to an every five week schedule. I feel absolutely amazing, have little to no tension in my upper back and, as Treece tells me, my body is far better aligned than it was a year ago. She's definately the best massage therapist I've ever visited.

Patrice gives a great Great Deep Tissue Massage – I'm writing this review on behalf of one of my patients, G.M. as he does not own a computer and asked if I could type for him. G.M. gets massages on a weekly basis from many different therapists. He had a therapist named Patrice for his massage and it was one of the best massages he has ever had. She was excellent at deep tissue work.

Best Massage – I have been going to Treece Kampmeyer for massage therapy for over two years. I was suffering from weekly migraines and under a lot of stress when I first visited her. Treece worked out a plan of therapy for me that helped release tension. She really listened to me and used this information in creating a customized massage that worked best for me. With regular massage and other stress reducing techniques that Treece taught me, I am almost migraine free. I always look forward to visiting A Caring Touch Massage, a warm and welcoming facility, because I can always count on a perfect massage and a 30, 60 or 90 minute "mini-vacation". I have referred friends to Treece and they are also extremely pleased with their massages.

Great Massage Therapist and a Beautiful Space! – I have been going to Treece Kampmeyer regularly for at least 7 years. She provides excellent massage and really listens to what I need. Whether I want a general full body massage, focused work on specific areas, or a little of both, she delivers. She has the strength to do wonderful deep tissue massage, and can also do more gentle relaxation massage. She combines different techniques such as trigger point, myofacial release, hot stone, cranio sacral, deep tissue, and Swedish depending on what I need. She has a beautiful space in the historic Ramsey Building with a heated, adjustable table. I refer friends and family members to Treece, and they all are happy with her work.
