My parents and I go here often for hamburgers and breakfast food. Their hamburgers are delicious and they give large portions of hashbrowns with their breakfasts. I had their steak and eggs breakfast with two pancakes; I was impressed how tender the sirloin steak was [It tasted like Prime quality steak; Tender from outside to inside; My mom was able to cut it with her butter knife]. Pancakes tasted good and were cooked perfect. I do wish they would serve syrup like Denny's restaurant; Hot syrup in a little cup rather than cold syrup in a pourable container (like Perkins does). Overall I am very happy with their service and food.
HORRIBLE SERVICE – I give it two stars due to the fact that the cook was professional and did a good job. I've been to this Flameburgers over 20 times and most of the time i've come with friends and i've had good service but everytime I come alone; I've gotten bad service such as no drinks/waitress don't ask if its dine in or out. They only asl for my order and ignore me until my order is complete which usually takes over 15minutes since its a "take out" from what the waitress tells the cook. I'm a minority; every time I come in by myself i get bad service and served last compare to caucasion guest.
Avoid late nights and dinner time – This place seems to have nice people who work there and they tend to get the food done quickly. It is usually done to your liking. However seating is very much limited. The booths are small. There really aren't alot of options as far as breakfast food goes and it is a 24 hour resturaunt. The prices look great at first but looks can be decieving. They charge items seperately. So for example you want a double flame with cheese. You don't get fries with it unless you specify and then the fries are added into the price after that. It can get noisy.
Classic greasy spoon known for food that favors taste buds over waist lines. – In Short
There's not much to this place--lunch counter seating, a few chintzy booths and some framed prints of mallards. Regulars go for the fast, no-frills service and chats with friends. Everything's deep-fried or cooked with butter, but you didn't come here for a healthy meal, right? "The Flame" is the trademark and namesake: A quarter-pound burger seared on a char broiler, served on a sesame bun with a slice of raw or grilled sweet onion.
