DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE A MINORITY – So, we went here with a couple friends and they ended up kicking out all of my black friends that I was with. The manager claimed the three guys were drinking outside when they went to smoke.
Definitely going to complain to the better business bureau.
Dear Neverout – Obviously you weren't at the Moose Country. I have been a long time patron and I have never heard of a dress code. Three regulars there at the bar are Latinos that come straight from work. They are not executives either. Just regular guys that do physical labor. Dressed in work clothes. The bartenders are very friendly and know all the regulars by name.
Great wings too! I have never seen anyone refused entry.
Discriminating – This was my first and last visit. I came to attend friend's birthday party. I arrived late and a friend was heading out. Within the first five minutes of being there, I witnessed how they allowed individuals with dirty tennis shoes and cargo shorts in but would not allow another individual in with nice boot-cut jeans and clean tennis shoes in because he was violating dress code with his shoes. The only difference between the two was race - one was white and the other Latino. They proceeded to allow others in with with tennis shoes who were white.
As a woman of color, I will not give this business my money. When we tried to calmly pull aside the manager to discuss why we felt this was wrong, he then proceeded to tell us that they weren't being racist and that if we felt that there was discrimination we could leave. We sat in the bar for a while to prove our point and witnessed several other attempts being turned away and allowing others in. They operate under white privilege.
Great salads! – Great food especially the salads. They have a lot of fun nights like birthday night and it's always a fun atmosphere!
Great New Menu – I was a little dissappointed they had taken my favorite off the menu, but I saw they added my ultimate favorite,
Cubano Sandwich to the menu...It was totally fantastic..
We had an order of wings as an appetizer and never had better...My friend ordered a steak sandwich that was so big he could not even eat it.. It was made with a sirloin strip and was it good... For dessert we had their ever famous Bread Pudding... It also was just delicious. I am telling some of my other friends to check it out, you should too.....

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME – We headed out to Moose Country for a bachelor party for a quick drink with 12 guys. We arrived to find out that bachelor parties are NOT allowed. They mentioned any group larger than 8 and all guys are not allowed. This is absolutely rediculous. I have never heard of such a rule. Meanwhile, they advertise bachelorette parties on their website. Pretty stupid and i guess they don't like business. Secondly, the so called "bouncers" were complete jerks. They were obviously on a pretty good power trip with their flashy ear pieces. While waiting in the lobby for half of our party to get out of the bar since they had already let 6 of us in, they asked 2 other guys if they were a part of the bachelor party. They replied "no", then the "bouncer" said "Good, then get in there and get F***** wasted." Pretty solid statement in my mind coming from a non-educated 25 year old. I hope they truly enjoy their minimum wage paying job to check Id's. Over all a horrible experience and don't even waste your time driving out to this bar in the middle of nowhere.
Probably a good thing they didn't let you in. Your kind of an a-hole. They don't let bachelor parties in because they tend to cause trouble. If its the parties first or second stop, they more than likely will let you in. If you seem to intoxicated from your previous stops, they probably won't. Better than a bunch of jackass's causing trouble. And 25 year old security, dude you look like your 12. Why don't you take your skinny ass downtown and stay there dips***. :)
BAD EXPERIENCE - BAD FOOD – Upon walking into the restaurant, the bouncers asked me to "straighten my hat". Apparently a slightly tilted hat is against their dress code (even though they don't have a dress code). They also told my friend that he had to wear his hoodie to cover up his white T-shirt over his long sleeve navy blue shirt underneath. Yet the atmosphere was extremely casual, and other patrons had white t-shirts. We wondered what the bouncers' real motivation was. The food was horrible - it was extremely bland, and the waiters were obnoxious. Save your money, go somewhere else.
Rudest Staff Ever – This was by FAR the worst experience ever. We went to Moose Country for our friends bday for Bday Tuesday. We got there around 10p. We were having a good time just dancing and hanging out with our friends. Not even 2 hours later, 2 security guards surround our friend who is just sitting at the table and tell him he has to leave. When we ask why, they tell us he is too drunk. Okay, first of all... He had 3 drinks. Second of all, this is a guy that can hold his liquor more than anyone I've met. There is no way he was drunk. I asked the head security guard (which was the biggest jack a++ of them all. Way to set an example) why he could not just stay in and drink water so we can all just stay and continue having a good time. He said no. After a few rude comments from head jack a++ himself, i told him that if our friend had been a hot chick, they would have not kicked him out. I can't even count on one hand how many times i have gone into the bathroom there to some random bday girl throwing up. In fact just a couple months prior when we were there for another friends bday, we were walking in just as some girl was FINALLY getting kicked out for "throwing up on my customers" as the security guard that kicked her out put it. When i was on my way outside to check on our friend and tell him we would be right out, i walked past our waitress that we had all night talking sh*t about our whole table. Classy. I go back to my boyfriend to get our stuff and 3 security guards are just standing around him. After over hearing the waitress and seeing these security guards just staring at us... we left. Later on we found out that apparently Moose Country is a privately owned business and they can pretty much do whatever they want. NEVER will we EVER set foot in that place again and I hope this helps other people to decide to go elsewhere for there bday so they don't have the same awful experience as we had. The ONLY reason I gave this hell hole 1 star is because zero was not an option.
