Best Days in the Past – I have to say I wasn't impressed. We went on a Saturday at Noon and were the only people in the restaurant. The decor is the same as it was when they opened the joint in the 80's. The food was OK. My brisket sandwich was decent. My wife ordered the pulled pork and it was fatty. Better option in the Twin Cities is Famous Dave's. Best option in Minnesota is John Hardy's in Rochester.

mmmmmm....good bar-b-que! – I crave this place! The menu is huge and the waitstaff are always extremely friendly and helpful. I wasn't a big BBQ fan until I started eating here. Absolutely delicious. I usually order the pulled pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw - all generous portions. My husand likes the ribs also served with toast, fries and coleslaw. He likes the dry rubbed ribs and then adds his own sauce at the table...I usually add a little extra sauce to my sandwich, too, since they're BBQ sauce is really, really good! The atmosphere is very family friendly, relaxed and the booths feel nice and private. A must try!

YOU LIKE SMOKEY RIBS??? BEST RIBS IN TOWN ARE MAPLE SMOKED RIGHT HERE!!! – This place is worth a trip from the other side of town. I am a rib fanatic and this place on a good night makes you think you have died and gone to heaven. I like my ribs a little on the juicy side as opposed to darker and drier. Ask for whichever you prefer and they will pull them from the smoker for you. They have great sauce which I have on the side. They also have the best french fries in town. Made with peanut oil and fresh potatoes. This is the real deal. The ribs come with really awesome texas toast and the best cole slaw I have ever had. Can't quite tell, but they may put a little bit of garlic or mustard in it??? Have been eating here since I moved in back in the 1988 time frame. The quality of the meat is excellent also. Ribs do tend to vary a bit, but on a good night here, you think you have died and gone to heaven to eat the perfect all time most smokey and delicious ribs you can imagine. I like to order my ribs with beer. Wondering what to do or where to go on a cold night in the winter??? My recommendation is to head over here. Have never tried the downtown location. 5 stars.!!!

The pig in this restaurant's logo is smiling for good reason: The lean, meaty pork ribs do the joint proud. – In Short
This Twin Cities chain dates to the vaudeville era, when the first location's late hours attracted performers after the shows. Although they've added this Minnetonka location, the aura remains in the framed front pages and autographed photos that line both of their restaurants' walls. Market's pork and beef ribs are decidedly on the chewy side--a sentimental favorite to many. There are several combo plates, plus barbecue sandwiches and burgers for smaller appetites.

CLOSED – Nothing special, but I guess unless you go several hundred miles south, there is " Nothing to see here folks. Move along"

Not the best ribs in town, but at least edible. The fries and toast need some work. Where are the baked beans?

YUM! – I know everyone goes Downtown, but I prefer this one. It's quieter, you can nearly always get a seat, and it's delicious.
