overpriced dirty store – I stop here often when coming into town,,,lite rail takes me from the airport to Savers in 15minutesl.
Initially it had some great bargains when it opened....but recent visits tell a different story.
I have found the merchandise to be dirty and unbelieveably overpriced. Today I spent 2hours doing some intensive shopping and comparing. There seems to be no pricing guidelines. One of the most outrageous examples today was a medium sized gift box...empty and priced at 8.00......needless to say, this is my last visit.
Good Book Selection – ...but that's the best i can say. Prices are inflated, shelves are crowded and what used to be the best place to go for can't-find-anywhere-else clothes is now only a buck cheaper than Target. Go elsewhere.
Not worth visiting – Compared to other thrift shops, and other Savers stores, this one is not worth the visit. The prices are high, and as a consequence, the racks and shelves are overstuffed and difficult to browse. The store help is surly and unsupervised, and often use profane language and operate as if they're on the back lot rather than in public. It's well worth the drive to other Savers stores in the area, particularly the one on Maryland Avenue in St. Paul.
