WHATS THE INGREDIENT??? – I WANT TO KNOW WHATS THE INGREDIENT THEY USE?
PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME HELP!!!
Better Wings Elsewhere – For a place with a decent reputation, I was very disappointed. When wings are your thing, there's really no excuse for not making a GREAT wing. And regardless of a restaurant's particular specialty, there is no excuse for lack of cleanliness. For a good wing, I recommend The News Room which is located in downtown Minneapolis.
Best Chicken Wings – I remember when this joint was called Art Songs way back when but any way the wings are great just the right spices and the best hojo's around the rice I like mine with extra butter and extra spice and not only on Tuesday and Thursdays can you get the wing special but on Monday and Wednesdays you can go to the Shory and Wags country bar on Lyndale and Lake st and also get the wing special so if you like wings you can get the special 4 nights a week MMMM
Famous wings make people brake, run in and run out with a hot bag. – In Short
Family-owned since 1979, the restaurant has perfected the chicken wing and serves its specialiy in original or Buffalo-style. The decor leaves much to be desired: A yellow linoleum counter, a few red stools and four walls. Most people call in their orders, pick them up and rush home to devour their saucy treats. If you stay, you'll have to wash off grease wafting from the fryers. Aside from the wings, the all-American menu is rounded out by minature corn dogs, smoked chicken, catfish, chicken gizzards and livers.
Nothing special – Wings: the secret ingredient is Chinese 5-spice powder. Rib tips: tough, with run-of-the-mill BBQ sauce. Onion rings: made from minced onions. Ambience: get me outta there. Off-street parking: none. Editorial rating was 8; why??
Best Wings in Town – Great ribs, and the best chicken wings and hojoes in the city! You can go on Tuesday and Thursday for great deals on a dozen chicken wings! Many great dipping sauces including hot buffalo. Also lots of soul food, beans, catfish, etc. Most people just take out their food here instead of dining in, but if you can't wait, grab a city pages or buy some candy from the vending machines while you smell the wonderful fumes or watch your valiant cook slave over lots of grease, or talk to your neighbor!
Definitely Good Wings – When Ben Coleman told me he was closing the Caribbean Splash, I lamented the fact that I'd never again find those Jamaican Jerk Wings that the Splash did so well. (Some of y'all know what I'm talking about!) And while I tried, I simply could not duplicate the recipe at home. As for Shorty & Wags: Jerk Wings these are not, but if you want some *very* tasty fried wings, made to order, this is one place to definitely check out.
