My Favorite Chinese Restaurant – My family has been going to Yangtze for the last 24 years and has never been disappointed once. We have tried everything on the menu and their Dim Sum is the best in town. Highly recommend their fabulous Spicy House Shrimp, Volcano Chicken and Imperial Beef. Yangtze is GREAT for any occasion.

Dim Sum and More – The Dim Sum on Saturday and Sunday is great! If you are adventurous try the chicken feet.

One of the best chinese restaraunts – I have never ever had a bad dish at here! The pan fried noodles are incredible so are their egg rolls and vegetable and tofu soup. The service is always great, you know you are going to have a fabulous meal when you go there!

Its Okay – The food is good, but not anymore special then a regular asian restaurant. The prices are expensive. The service was good, but you can get the same quailty food for way cheaper.

ok dim sum – I've only tried the dim sum here. Having only tried the dim sum in 1 other Chinese restaurant, I shall not give a comparison. But, can say that some of their dim sum were decently cooked. In particular the ha kao(shrimp dumplings) and siew mai(pork dumplings). Other selections weren't too impressive. The cheong fun(flat noodles with pork in them) were too thick and not fradrant enough. The egg tarts were also not delicate, too hard.

One of my favs.. – Another stripmall jem. I you feel like passing on LeeAnnChins for a night, go here for a little more dough and enjoy! Frankly, I found the service to be professional, attentive & helpful; never rude, but maybe a little pushy if I were to find any negatives. The ambience is darker in the eve, romantic, if not a little smokey from the smoking section.. but quite a decent place to take a date for great reasonably priced food. I've been here several times over the last 7/8 years, never had I felt disappointed for the money. Entrees are generous portions, enough for two people per item. Seasonal chinese specialty dishes are nice and seemingly authentic. (I'm not Asian) Order to taste/spice if you're sensitive. Priced a little higher than one $, but eat well for 20.00 for two.

get there early – We're at a disadvantage in the Twin Cities when it comes to good dim sum. Yangtze is one of a very few choices, and I'd put it at the middle of the albeit short list. The dining rooms are packed on weekends, and the later it gets, the slower the carts get. The secret is to arrive early, before the rush. The dishes were fine, but very heavy on shrimp. I felt like Bubba in Forrest Gump ... shrimp balls, shrimp wraps, shrimp dumplings, shrimp shrimp shrimp...
