Best ambience, but the food... – My daughter loves Rainforest cafe and it is a huge treat. We went there after we attended a focus group to treat ourselves with our "free cash". What a mistake! The place was practically empty but the service was terrible. After we received our food, our server never came back. I ordered the fajitas. The rice was crunchy, the beans were cold and the fajita was burnt. My daughter ordered the chimi cha cha's off the app menu. They had freezer burn and were hard! We each had a soda and the bill came to $40+. Honestly, we would have had more fun at Taco Bell.

If you want a fun ambience, go there but if you are hungry eat somewhere else. It was so not worth it!!

This cartoon jungle is a child's wonderland, with waterfalls, swinging monkeys and a canopy of faux flora and fauna. – In Short
While waiting for a table, hungry diners prowl the retail village, where cash-register ka-chings compete with chirping birds, roaring lions and chest-thumping gorillas. When the lights start to flicker, never fear--thunderstorms are part of the show. The menu is American comfort food--pastas, burgers, pizzas and salads--served with a tropical flair. There are plenty options that the kids will recognize, but enough novelty to keep the parents happy.

Great Theme, Mediocre service/atmosphere – My boyfriend and I dined here for the first time over the weekend. I definitely give this restaurant a 9 for its theme. The effects were great and it really felt like we were in the middle of the rainforest, but the service was quite slow. I used to be a waitress so I know that you are supposed to greet customers within 30 seconds...it was more like 5 minutes the night we went. Granted it was busy but that is no excuse to not acknowledge a paying customer. The waitress was also slow to refill our beverages. Our glasses sat empty for quite awhile before they were refilled. As for the atmosphere, it is definitely more of a place for groups. There were at least 5 birthdays throughout the duration of our dining, which got kind of annoying. This is definitely not a place to go for a first date. I was satisfied with my food, although a little over-priced for what we got. Overall, it wasn't too bad, but not my favorite.
