Good break from shopping – Twin Cities Grill was recommended to us by a store employee. We beat the lunch crowd, and did not feel rushed, altho' by the time we left there were people waiting. Received an complimentary appetizer for first timers, never see that in California! The corn chowder was delicious, could have eaten just that. The walleye was deeply coated, but came very hot and crisp, I found it mild and greaseless. Chicken Ceasar Salad was average. Dining area was a little dark for lunch, we were seated near entrance so no problem. Left refreshed and ready for more shopping.
Average – Having looked at the Citysearch rating of 9.2, my anticipation was not justified. The food was slightly above average. The dining area is crowded and noisy. The wait satff is very good. The specialty of the house, walleye, is mostly breading.
I guess one cannot expect a lot in a mall setting.
Excellent – My husband and I have been there several times and everthing we have had has been great. The Mac and cheese served for lunch is out of this world. The steaks are great. The dark lighting atmosphere is very romantic.
