My LASIK surgery was so easy and I have 20/20 eye sight now. I have had just slight dryness, but nothing else. Dr. Lobanoff and his staff were great! Best decision I ever made!
Had my Lasik done here 4 years ago. Love the results! Great doctors and staff. Recommend them to anyone who has ever asked about it. Couldn't be happier.
What a great group of doctors and staff! All the staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to help me plan my LASIK procedure coming in from Sioux Falls, SD! When doing my research I found another facility in the MSP area simply would not help me arrange co-managed care. North Suburband North Suburban Eye Specialists was happy to help me make arrangements. Dr. Lobanoff, thank you very much! I appreciate how friendly you are and how you explained every detail and every step to me making the experience stressfree! I first researched having the procedure done in Sioux Falls, of course right?! I was quoted one price and told another when I had my consultation which is really disappointing. Not only that, the procedure in Sioux Falls would have cost me 40% MORE! Thanks again for having the best technology available and providing it at an upfront reasonable cost! I recommend you to anyone!
What a professional experience having LASIK with Dr Lobanoff. I was very nervous going in. The process was designed to help calm me down. The procedure was not painful and I sat up looked around the room and could see better right away. I went home slept on and off the rest of the day. This is day two. I feel great. My eyes are in general a little sore but otherwise very comfortable. I drove my self to the follow up appointment wearing normal sun glasses and could see quite well. I am a young active 56 years old and want to be able to see better hunting and golfing. It is clear 24 hours after this procedure that I made the right choice.
It took me over 10 years of contemplating getting Lasik, I now have perfect vision again! Thanks to Dr. Lobanoff and his amazing staff. My choice was clear and traveling the distance from Michigan was well justified, knowing that Dr. Lobanoff specializes in eye surgeries and has the most advanced laser technology.
His staff was very friendly and Dr. Lobanoff explained every detail. The procedure took 10 seconds and was painless. I was able to see after the surgery and was 90% after a couple hours rest. I have zero dry eye symptoms and couldn't be happier with my results, not to mention the money I will save not needing to buy contacts or glasses anymore!
My vision is new and improved and my experience was well worth my wait.

Dr. Lobanoff and North Suburban Eye Specialist rely on good marketing and (in Dr. Lobanoff's case, a good personality). My advise is look at comments that are posted a year or so after they have had a procedure. I had lasik over a year ago. My initial response would have been positive. Only to find out, he messed up the first surgery, and had to do it again (He'll give you a story of how it happens sometime. Now I have severe dry eyes (which I never had before). And there response is basically 'oh well, try some drops'. If you want us to look at it more, set up an (and pay for an appointment). I consciously paid more for the procedure expecting good results, and superior customer service. I would recommend somewhere cheaper, you're paying for the marketing, not the service. The reality is there really isn't that much difference in the equipment (despite what they try to convince you), if I would have know I was going to be treated as a number, I would have went somewhere else myself...
I had my Lasik surgery on yesterday. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole process. My doctor was Dr.Mark Lobanoff. From the consultation to the pre-surgery to the actual procedure, it was a very professional operation throughout. Like many, I was apprehensive about getting Lasik, but Dr. Lobanoff explains the procedure and everything related very well. I was a person who wore my contacts well past the recommended time, keeping them in my eyes for way too long, which is not good for your eyes. That is a big reason why I decided to get it done. In the long run, I feel it is going to save me $$$ on contacts and exams. The surgery itself is very quick, and the only discomfort I felt was 1-2 hours afterward, where my eyes watered a lot and were sensitive. That is the case for all Lasik procedures. After I took a nap for a couple hours, my eyes felt great. I was able to see very well. One day after the surgery, I am seeing 20/15. The Lasik procedure was very reasonable in price. I trust Dr. Lobanoff, and I would recommend him to anyone. Well worth the money!!
Dr. Lobanoff and his staff are great! The entire procedure took about 5 minutes. He explained exactly what he was doing and what was happening. There was no pain other than removing the strip that was holding my eyelashes back! It was like removing a bandaid! I went home and took a nap right away. Woke up and could see perfect with the exception of halos around light, which is expected. Went back the next morning for the post op exam - vision is now 20/15, compared to before when I couldn't even see my own hand in front of my face! Such a great experience with NO PAIN!
Had a great experience... Dr. Lobanoff and the staff were very professional. They answered all my questions and at no point did I feel rushed or pressured. The surgery literally took about 5 minutes and was painless. The hardest part was for about 30 minutes following the surgery my eyes were irritated and tearing up profusely but this soon subsided and after a nap I was fine. I had surgery at 2pm and by 7pm that night I was able to drive to Target. It has been 2 days and my vision continues to improve. I would highly recommend Dr. Lobanoff and his staff.
I has traditional LASIK yesterday morning with Dr. Mark Lobanoff. I had my *free* consultation apt just the week prior. The consult was a set of measures/tests of my eyes to see if they were healthy enough to have LASIK. After the tests, the doctor went through them all with me by showing me a 3D picture of an eye and everything that involves LASIK and what he would be doing. It was VERY cool, but at that time seemed a little scary.
Even though I was nervous I made my surgery for the following week. (Not to mention received a discount on the surgery because of where I worked which was nice. They also have flexible payment plans). They money you pay also includes your *two* (or more if needed) follow-up apts and all the eye drop medications you take post-surgery.
Day of surgery....walk-through of what was going to happen was SO smooth and understandable. The procedure took less than a minute for each eye! I felt NOTHING. So amazing. Went home right after (you need a driver) slept for a few hours, which is what the recommend, woke up with a TINY bit of irritation. A couple hours later...felt like nothing happened.
This morning (the morning after) I felt like I never had it :) I had a follow-up with Dr. L this morning and I now have 20/15 vision (which is better than 20/20) and as my eyes heal, but vision will keep getting better. I am so happy I did this, and you should for sure consider it :)
